Came here for the USA vs Costa Rica game on a Tuesday night. Â The place is definitely not a sports bar, but it does well enough. Â I heard the Sheppards Pie is fantastic, but carbs and I don't get along so I went with the Chicken Ceasar which was delicious. Â Large portion, not too saucy and the chicken was cooked blackened and right. Â
There is definitely a bunch of bar food here and looked to be about 10 beers on tap and more in the bottles. Â They had the allstar game on one side of the bar and soccer on the other. Â The design on this place needs a lot of work...would do a lot better if it were an open design. Â Will come back if the opportunity presents itself.
Great out of the way place full of Irish charm. Full of dark stained wood and old Guinness adverts, it is really like stepping into another place when you pass through the door.
I got the prime rib sandwich and it was delicious. the aju dip was so good, I went through 4 cups of it and wanted to order it as a beverage. My coworkers ordered the fish and chips and enjoyed the crisp flaky fish.
Dinged 1 star for slow service. Don't go here if you are on a time crunch, because they are in no rush to get your food served or to give your bill when you are done.
As a followup to my review on 6/30. Â The manager contacted me and apologized for the food and service. Â She left a gift certificate to come back. Â I ordered the fish & Chips again and this time it was VERY good. Â Completely different from the first try. Â My husband had the wings and onion rings and again..the food was very good. Â Still no Bass ale (fire that distributer!!) but a had a Blacksmith instead. Â Perfect with the fish & chips. Â I really appreciate the followup by the manager. Â I am sure we will return many times.
