I like places that are a throwback to the old days of supper clubs.  This place had me hooked the minute I walked in.  The servers were outstanding.  My Mom ordered the three cheese lasagna which was tasty but it did have a bit too much sauce ladled over it..so order your sauce on the side for this dish if you don't want it drowned...I had  the Anthony Pasta which was tasty with jalapenos in it so it is spicy...I prefer my Italian sausage in slices or whole...this dish had the sausage cut up in little bite size pieces...while it had good flavor I am not that fond of it being cut up like that....I will go back again though as I think they do a decent job of flavoring and sauces...the bread was great...warm..only they do need to bring you butter not margarine..I don't get anyplace ever serving margarine and not butter...next trip I will try the chicken Marsala or a steak to see how they do with that....for this area this is a huge plus of a place cause there is not much at all in places that are small, inviting and not a chain...

Here's an Italian lesson for you: La Villetta means 'the cottage' in Italian. That has nothing to do with my review whatsoever, but I like to know the translation before I eat at a restaurant.

I knew a few rich friends that used to frequent LaVilletta, so I just assumed it was too expensive for someone like me. However, it's not. The prices are very similar to Olive Garden, but it's a small biz so you can pat yourself on the back for putting money back into the local economy. I'm obsessed with soup in the same way that most people are obsessed with pizza. I could eat it everyday for the rest of my life and still want more. That being said, I decided to get the Unlimited Soup, Salad and Breadsticks option for $8. It was a Saturday night and the soup of the day was Lobster Bisque. Everything was SO hot and it was some of the best Lobster Bisque that I've tried so far. The bread was fresh out of the oven and a perfect pairing with the soup. We asked for another basket of bread and they said it would be a little bit because they were going to throw it in the oven for us. I've had pasta here before and I liked it but I wasn't as amped on it as I was the unlimited soup.

The service is good sometimes, and okay at other times. I wouldn't recommend going here if you're in a hurry as it may be risky in getting out really quickly, BUT i always think fresh food that's not being frozen then microwaved is worth the wait.

The best thing that I can say about the food here is that it is bland. If this is "authentic" Italian then I'll go Greek!!!! The food and service do NOT justify the prices that they are charging. I've had better Italian food at Fazoli's and that's just plain sad.

The first time I came here was years ago, when I was a kid.  I believe I was with a wedding party, where the menu was minimal, so when I suggested to my mom that I'd take her anywhere she wanted to go for lunch, I was hoping she wouldn't say "La Villetta"

...but she did, and after a sigh, I said "Cool!"

This time around, we came just after the lunch rush, and were one of two tables that had people in it.

I'm glad I came back and didn't let the past whisper in my ear that this place stinks....the food was pretty good!

Power Girl (the Girlfriend) had the Chicken Alfredo which she really liked, the steak wrap I had was just alright, (I know: what was I doing ordering that in an Italian restaurant?), and I don't recall what the Moms got, but I know she liked it a lot......

The prices were reasonable, the restaurant was clean for an older building in Bradley, and though the waiter was a little difficult to understand, he was on top of things.....

It may not be the first place I'd want to go if someone asked me where I would want lunch, but would I go back here? No doubt

...and I promise to try something different. :-)

The food was fine, but nothing special.  We did enjoy the fresh bread. The service was quite good.  The decor could really use some updating.

It's OK, not the best Italian in town, but also not the worst. I do think the prices are a little inflated, food is decent and service is also good.

This is my favorite restaurant in town!  The food is amazing and the service is super friendly.  I'm a vegan but they have no problem customizing pasta dishes for me.  Plus their marinara really is the best!    It's great to have such a fantastic and authentic italian restaurant just down the street!

Love love love it here. Been coming to this quaint little Italian resturant for about ten years now. Best marinara ever. Any of their pastas are great actually. Try it.

We've been regulars here for many years.  Great lunch, great dinners.  For lunch, try the soup salad and breadsticks!  For dinner, the pasta dishes are all really good.  Ask for Antonio to wait on you...his service is terrific!  The only negatives ...... not much ambiance and not a good dessert selection.  But the dinners are really good!
