The Landing

The Landing on Bowen's Wharf is a must for anyone visiting Newport. The food, atmosphere, and prices are all fantastic. Although the restaurant was busy, I was seated almost immediately. No matter where you sit, you can have a very nice view of some huge yachts, and most tables are literally inches away from the water. Everyone is happy and having a good time, and there is live music, which is wonderful. There are TVs to watch as well. I got the Burger, which was absolutely excellent. The service was very friendly and the prices were very affordable. I definitely recommend The Landing to anyone in the Newport area. Will be returning during my next visit! :)

We were looking for a spot to keep our dinner buzz going while taking in the view. I had been here with friends a few summers ago and knew it would fit the bill. This experience was kind of a let down though.

The waiter/bartender was quick to refill our drinks but had a bit of an attitude. The simple cocktail I got was nasty, though the two my mom and sister were reportedly tasty.

It gets 3 stars, but barely, especially when compared to the next place we stopped at.

terrible food.  it is an ok spot to have a drink at sunset but that's about it.
