Maharaja moved into what used to be the breakfast place behind almalfi under new  management. I was so excited to hear Indian was coming back to Narragansett. First of all, the food was TO DIE FOR. Amazing spices, and huge portions for lunch. If you  enjoy indian food do not pass up this awesome restaurant. Exceeded my expectations, and i'm going to go out on a limb and say best indian in Rhode Island.
Review Source:now i've only been once and i will be giving them a second chance but this was my experience. first the drinks, i ordered a "dark and stormy" which is supposed to be ginger beer and dark rum. what i got was ginger ale, lite beer, and dark rum in a plastic cup with no ice. very gross. next my appetizer was ice cold. the service was slow and inexperienced and very very young. my entree was great, the proportions are pretty small. although i wanted my entree inhumanly spicy, they asked me to rate how spicy on a scale of 1-10, i said 10. and meant it!! what i got was maybe a 6. perhaps they were thinking something like "crazy white lady can't handle real spicy indian food"
