We've been regulars for sometime. Â Totally disappointed with some of the changes to the beach atmosphere. Â We (friends too) used to love to come after a day at the beach and check either Red Socks score or the golf standings. Â Those days are gone - no TV at the bar. Â Also used to be dog friendly...also gone. Â Sad but its lost it's beach charm. Â Trying too hard to compete with the over priced Fish across the street.
Review Source:Went here with the fam to see the new ownership, menu, etc. We went on. Weekday night around 7, and there was a brisk business, but they weren't slammed
Let me say, the staff were exceedingly friendly, our server (whose name I wish I could remember) was competent, patient, and effective. Â Definitely the makings of a great manager.
On to the food:
The ideas were rather creative, and I'd wished that I'd written down one of the specials. Good food blending concepts for certs.
Everything I tasted had a nice burst of flavor, with interesting combinations, but.....here's the odd thing.....not one of them had an after taste. Not the apps, and not the entrées. I'm puzzled by this.
Each of my fam were disappointed in the portion sizes, so be sure to get an appetizer (or two)  if your looking for a full meal.
The wine list is competent, and there doesn't seem to be a mistake on it.
The back end of the house does not seem to have it's act together. Rolls weren't ready, came out tasting as if they were left overs. Entrees came to the table in three waves (for five people), etc. Real rookie league stuff. Having worked both front and bak in the industry, I would consider the kitchen the likely suspect.
Overall, it's going to be a success thanks to the  Audi driving class. If you're  a Foody, expect some interesting combinations, but nothing you're going to advise your friends to hurry to get to.
