Easily the best Mediterranean food in the Lima area. Access is simple, but not in the best location.

It has recently been made into a hookah bar as well as a restaurant, which has been a great addition. Always friendly and has good food and wonderful decor. At times it might seem like something is missing, but it is mostly because this family business is an unsung jewel in the community. Unfortunately the patronage of the local community is mostly based on American style foods and bars.

    Highly recommended.

This is one of my favorite places to eat. My wife and I eat here for special occasions. The food is the freshest I've had in Lima. Everything is just so full of flavor. You have to eat here, or miss out on something great.

An absolute MUST!! Locally owned Mediterranean quiet spot. Food was fabulous and the service was excellent. Great prices for specialty food. Nice place for a quiet dinner. The hummus gets 10++++ on the scale. Do not pass this place when in Lima.

Great place for dinner, had delicious salads and amazing salmon and couscous dish. I was in town for work and found this place on Yelp. Really enjoyed it and was so happy I could find really good mediterranean food in Linma!

Definitely a unique place for Lima. I was rather happy with the food, and the waitress, but the kitchen service was a bit slow considering that the restaurant wasn't very busy. Regardless, our food was delicious, packing the right blend of taste and texture into each bite. My only complaint? The lunch menu is rather diminuitive, but you should be able to find something you like, no matter who you are.

All in all, I strongly recommend Lazeza to anyone who wants some authentic, reasonably priced Mediterranean cuisine.

In Lima on business and was dreading to have to choose between fast food or Kewpie or Applebees hell when I GPS'd my way into finding Lazeza.  Excellent service; the hummus appetizer with lamb was amazing and hot pita basket made it even better.  Excellent salad/dressing came with my entree, which was the chicken kabobs - outstanding.

Would have gotten four stars in another town with ethnic options, but the fact that this place is in Lima gives it a fifth.  Thank you for sparing me another extra value meal or "McSalad" - I will definitely be back.

I finally tried the dinner menu and really enjoyed the schwarma salad, which is delightfully priced at $6.

The maza plate (designed to feed two) easily could serve as an appetizer for four, packing dolma, hummus, baba ganoush and felafel.

My friend chowed down on a special salad made of spring greens, pine nuts, strawberries and pineapple topped with a poppyseed dressing. I was jealous after she shared a bite with me.

Like the previous reviewer, we actual had some food concerns (we got our Kipee frozen and not fully cooked).  We showed it to our wonderful waitress and she immediately apologized and recooked us a new batch.

The food outside of that issue was OUTSTANDING and even some of my coworkers who have never had greek/italian loved that place.  The establishment does not serve alcohol, but you are allowed to BYOB without any "table charges".

I would whole heartedly recommend this place for an authentic meal that is a great diversion from the sandwhich and soup places of Lima.

I really liked this place.  I was visiting my folks in this land of chain restaurants and meat-oriented meals, and they took me here so I could find something vegetarian.  I had some cream of carrot soup and a yummy spinach salad with apples, dried cranberries, walnuts, and mandarin oranges.  It was also supposed to have white grapes, but that was a big fat lie, and was when my mom went there and got it too.  I was disappointed that they were out of falafel (!) and lentil soup.  Huh?  Where's my happy vegetarian protein??  But I still give four stars, because we had good, friendly service, the restaurant was warm and nice, the bathroom was clean and decorated, and the food I did have was really good.  We also got hummus, and it was good.  My dad wasn't happy with his scallops because there were only three of them, but they were in a lovely-seeming corn salsa ish thing.  He didn't like it.  Mom got pan-seared tilapia that she liked very much.  Overall, I'd recommend.  Note to vegetarians - there are no veggie entrees, but the veggie stuff is in the appetizer section, and you can easily put things together to make a good meal.

Updated:  I must delete 2 stars, one for each parent who got sick!  My dad had all these stomach pains after finishing his meal, and then my mom was up sick all night with food poisoning.  Maybe it's not so good to order seafood there.
