Legends Sports & Spirits

This review is based off a single visit, unfortunately it left quite an impression.
I was looking for a place to meet a friend for a drink on a Sunday afternoon in between Tualatin and Hillsboro, I came up with legends via Yelp.
The bar was open and had been for hours, however I was the only person, besides 4 people working doing light construction, (drilling etc). besides the noise, it was dingy and and dark in the bar, no music, and odd unfriendly staff. Despite the atmosphere, I decided to order a drink anyway while waiting for my friend. My weak, Manapolowa and Soda was $6.00, pretty high priced for a neighborhood dive.  I walked to the back of the bar with my less than satisfactory drink in order to get away from the construction noise in front, and the odd bartender followed me to the back and turned off the light while i was sitting. I could not decide If this was more weird, rude, or scary! Needles to say I left, and my friend and I ended up down the street at Ickabod's, much better:).

Want beer?  Want laid back?  Look no more. It has arrived!  Your friend is behind the bar serving you.  Bring your friends and keep coming back.  Pulled pork sliders with coleslaw.  3 for $5.  Only problem is they are not sliders.  They are each almost a meal.  And we got 3!  Nachos, add beans and that would add points.  Don't tell anyone about this place. It is our secret. By the way ladies, the owner has promised to add purse hooks under the bar.  Come by and support a local business.  You will be back.

Cool little neighborhood spot to stop in, have a beer and get in touch with your inner Beaverton. They carry the Alameda IPA which is one of my top 10 favorite brews. The Bartenders, while a tad inexperienced, are really friendly and welcoming. They also host NFL Ticket on Sundays with a (free? not entirely sure) snack buffet.
