The Pit Stop

The place was packed due to a Plenty of Fish mixer.
Waitresses avoided me like the plague.
Not one would even ask me if I needed a drink.
After well over an hour, I finally left.
I did not try the food.
It was my first and last visit.

Great local sports bar with great food and drinks, people watching, and great prices!

My girlfriend and I actually met here on our first date.  I was new to the area and found this place on Yelp and decided this would be a good place to meet since it was Sunday, and I wasn't about to miss Sunday Night Football to go on a date! ;)

They have very friendly staff, great food, and great drinks and drink specials.  We had returned here a few times on Sunday morning to get breakfast and watch the kickoffs.  I would recommend getting here early because this is a popular spot, and seats fill up quick!  The breakfast is great and you get giant portions for anywhere between $6-9.

More than the great food, the great drinks, and prices, the patrons here are pretty great as well.  Everyone dresses up in their favorite team's garb and meet up with their buddies here.  It's not uncommon to witness people stand up and start screaming at the TV monitor "Go go go go!"  or "No, damnit!"  or "C'mon ref!" ...it's super entertaining!  Everyone here is having a good time, what else can you ask for?

Go check it out, preferrably during football season;)

Dropped in for lunch because we were on that side of town and had an Entertainment Book coupon to spend.  Wife had the grilled chicken special and I had the brisket dinner.  Both plates were very tasty and complemented well by the BBQ sauce (the hot version is actually hot...yay!).  Service was friendly but a little slow and the only real drawback of the entire experience is that the dining room was really cold, so cold that my wife had her gloves on while we waited for our lunch.  No wonder everyone else was crowded into the bar area where (we discovered on our way out) was much, much warmer.  
We're going to make it a pont to return for breakfast...some of the items on the menu look very promising!
