Levoy Theatre

Hmmm . . . I am surprised I had not written a review yet.

The theatre is gorgeous!  Absolutely fabulous.  The seats are comfortable, the sight lines are good, and one feels pleased at events here.

There is no parking.  The lobby has an odd feel to it.  Other than that, the place is remarkable.  If you ever can have a tour of the facility, take it.  The stage, dressing rooms, green room, etc. are neat to see.

The events at the theatre have been a mixed bag thus far.  The resident Off Broad Street Players are good.  They run a summer camp for children, that my daughter loves!  The professional musicians that have come through have been a lot of indy and/or has-beens.  There have been a pretty good crop of comedians.

A small town could not ask for a nicer looking theatre.

This venue has a whole lot going for it.  Not a bad seat in the house and excellent acoustics.  I've been there for a film, a play, a couple of concerts and even a mentalist.  The new Levoy is a jewel in downtown Millville.  Tickets are right-priced!

I visited the Levoy yesterday to see Alfie Boe in concert. What a great little venue! It is clean, gorgeous, and has the friendliest staff on the planet. The acoustics are solid and there isn't a bad seat in the house.
