Lexington Downtown Hotel & Conference Center

An average hotel.  What really bugged was the Sleep Number beds in the room.  You can set the bed as high as 100 (as hard as a rock) to 0 (deflated air mattress).  Good luck with that.  I was ready to call the front desk and ask for a crib.  I'm sure that would have been more cozy and comfortable.

The front desk staff was very friendly.

Another place that gets five stars because of my cousin's wedding -- the reception was held here.  It was great, the food was good, the best being the risotto and the mashed potatoes (hey, I told you several reviews ago that mashed potatoes were 'sacred' in my family.)  

There was a cash bar, but there was free wine (until they ran out) and I am glad to report that I was able to get the last glass at each of the bars.  There was a dance floor set up and the DJ had an awesome selection.   When I left at midnight, the party was still going on (hey, I had a 6 yr old nephew so I had to go when the 'majority' ruled).  I was impressed that they hadn't asked the DJ to lower the volume, but hey you only get married once (at least that is what you hope at the time of the ceremony.)

I know that the staff at the Radisson has taken very good care of my cousin and his bride  -- I thank them for that.
