It's an okay bar. I agree with Jeremiah - it's a locals place from the vibe, but the bartender didn't give a damn.
It's very small - a pool table, a few tables and chairs, and it's located "in that section" of town, but I've walked back to my buddy's place several times (and to this bar) with no problems, and all the people we've ever met have been good hearted guys.
Is it my favorite? No. My go-to? No. But when I'm hanging with my friend down the street and we feel like walking out to grab a beer, it's where we go.
Well, within 20 seconds of getting there for karaoke another customer threw out half my party. The atmosphere was scary enough that one of my friends refused to get out of her car. The karaoke was more like a bunch of locals getting together to get drunk and goof off.
I personally didn't feel unsafe but there's about 4 - 5 tables with room for less than 30 in the whole place. Overall, if you're looking for karaoke, go around the corner to Otani.
I wanted Lincoln Tavern to be a nice place. But it kind of seems like a locals only bar.
