Came in for beer and dinner and will not be back. Had the nachos which were decent once they actually arrived. Had to wait 20 mins before our first drink order was even taken. Â Ordered clam strips for dinner and received over fried rocks. Only ended up having one beer as I sat empty for another 30 after finishing the first. Will not be back!
Review Source:PK O'Ryan's is a small intimate Irish themed pub in Worthington. The laid back, intimate, cozy feel makes it a great place for dinner with friends. I have always attended where you seat yourself, and there is only a handful of close together tables. I like to order the Ruben with fries which are beer battered for extra crispness. The Guinness is probably the most Irish thing here as the rest of the menu is just typical bar food. .
Service is is just the right mix of attentive but not overbearing, always friendly and adds to the laid back atmosphere.
This place holds it own against a very similar restaurant across the street.
Went here for St Patrick's day thinking there would be a bunch of people. Nope. It's a tiny place to with the sit down restaurant next door. There bear selection is nice, exactly what I like. Gunnies, Murphy's Irish crème, really strong irish coffee (they add Jameson to there's) and really good food. We both had the Rueben which was top notch and probably the best one I've ever had; lightly toasted rye bread with just enough thousand island dressing drizzled over the lightly salted corn beef..and perfect...oh so perfect....sauerkraut (just the right amount of salt), and the cheese melted everything together so perfectly into the best thing I've had in such a long time.
Not to mention a family owned business that loves what they're doing. It shows. I love this place.
