Another first for me while visiting Indy on business, went here for a lunch and the food and wait staff was great! Â Ordered the meat heads and they definitely didn't disappoint, I did get a touch of indigestion afterwards but they were still great going down lol! Â Will definitely be returning to sample more of their menu!
Review Source:On an outing with my partner and brother, I let the guys pick our dinner location and they agreed on Logan's. Â I would say that this is a typical steakhouse kind of place. Â We went at kind of an "off" meal time (i.e., 4:00pm), so they weren't crowded (though there were quite a few people in there) and we were seated right away. Â
There are peanuts readily available for you to eat (e.g., in a barrel at the entrance/waiting area and in buckets on tables). Â You toss the shells on the ground, but the floors were pretty clear overall. Â There was a long list of appetizers to choose from and we all agreed on the onion petals, which were also served in a bucket with a horseradish-based dipping sauce. Â They were quite tasty. Â When it comes to ordering your entree... if you are wanting to get in touch with your inner carnivore, this is the place for you! Â Steaks and ribs and chicken, oh my! Â I haven't ordered a steak in a restaurant for years, so I went for it... a sirloin, medium-rare. Â Entree dishes also come with two sides... I went with a caesar salad and mashed potatoes. Â The salad was good and was a good size, not too small or too large. Â The mashed potatoes were dee-lish! Â And my steak was cooked exactly how I wanted it. Â Score! Â
At the end of our meal, we were very satisfied, to say the least. Â We enjoyed the casual, relaxed atmosphere and had some good dinner conversation over good food.
Busy, even on a rainy Thursday night. A barrel of peanuts sits in the waiting area and on every table... it's expected to toss the shells on the floor (although it's not out of control and messy). Â This place has HUGE Â sweet potatoes, delicious steaks and great prix fixe meals for two if you get there before 7.
