We were here for my mother-in-laws birthday because Olive Garden was 2 hour wait. I came here once before in my pre-yelp days and I was not excited to come back at all. Â I have to say, Â customer service was great and the food definatley improved from unbearably terrible to mediocre/average. I opted for the Bourbon Salmon. They handled a party of 12 with ease.
Review Source:Very decent place for the area, large selection and the atmosphere is nice. The service has been hit or miss, but we still like it. There's a night, I think Tuesdays (call to check for sure) that kids eat free or for $.99 so that's a nice perk if you have kiddos to feed (I hate going somewhere and paying another $6-7 for my son's meal when he only eats half most of the time).
Review Source:ok....you're in Bradley Illinois (middle of nowhere) so your options are severely limited. That said, I was pleasantly surprised by Lone Star. The menu was rather large (steaks , fish, pork chops, meat, meat, meat....but what would you expect in a steakhouse) and the service was very attentive. Â I wasn't a big fan of the bucket of nuts they brought to the table but "when in Rome",,
I had a Cajun Sirloin which was excellent, my friends had the pork chops and bacon wrapped fillets. Â I have to say it all looked absolutely delicious and well priced. Portions are large and you will leave busting a gut. If you every find yourself lost in the middle of 30 miles of cornfields....just look for the big red Lone Star sign and slip on in.
