My three girlfriends and I loved Los Mariachis so much that we spent five hours here...literally.  None of us had been to Springfield before, let alone this particular restaurant but this was the halfway point between Indianapolis and Medina/Wadsworth so this is where we ended up!  Chips and salsa were very good and the margaritas were super strong and delicious.  As someone else mentioned, the glasses are a bit deceiving so if you're extra thirsty for an alcoholic beverage, I suggest getting a jumbo or the pitcher.  Food overall was decent, though I felt like the veggie burrito was a bit lacking in flavor and the veggies seemed very greasy.  There is a cute little fountain in the middle of the restaurant that adds a special touch.  Had they not been fairly busy during our five hour visit, we probably would have taken goofy pictures around it.  Staff was friendly and kept our drinks refilled for the duration of our visit.  They never even acted annoyed that we continued to sit there for so long and one gal even came outside to take a few snapshots for us when we finally left.  Overall, a decent spot for some Mexican grub.

Delicious enchiladas and burritos. It can get very noisy so don't go during the rush and expect an intimate date.

After a 45 minute wait we were seated and greater by our disinterested waitress Cecillia. She acted like she had better things to do than take our drink orders so she automatically assumed we wanted to order our meal before our drinks. Thirty minutes later we got our food which was excellent after it had to be corrected  however with empty drinks on the table the waitress decided to not ask of anyone would like another drink so we had to ask. This was the last we saw of the waitress until she was convinced that we would love some dessert.  This was not the case so for the first time this night she was fast getting back to the table with the check. This was not the worst service I have ever seen but it was definitely far from the best. If you do go try to get a waitress who wants to do her job.

A group of us reunited in Springfield for a wedding and were looking for a non-chain restaurant. It's one of the only options in this town and it was good enough for our group, especially since it had outdoor seating.

The margaritas on the rocks were great - I recommend ordering a pitcher instead of by the glass b/c they use these crazy thick glass chalices that hold deceptively little actual beverage.

I ordered the chicken enchilada, pretty good, although the server said there were no black bean substitution for refried beans even though there were clearly black bean options in other meals on the menu. Everyone else at my table ordered something vegetarian and most refried beans are NOT veggie-friendly.

Great food (try some of the lesser known, more Mexican/less "tex-mex" stuff...tamales, chiles rellenos, huevos rancheros, chilaquiles, coctel de camarones all good) and fast service.  Now that the warm weather's back, be sure to try their outside patio...  The parking lot is always full, even on week days, and even so, we've never had too long a wait to be seated.  Not too many good dining spots in E. Springfield, and Los Mariachis is a welcome addition!  BTW, my office has also had some GREAT lunches catered in from El M.  Buen provecho!!

Los Mariachis is a great Mexican restaurant. I've come here in the past and ate lunch here yesterday as I was on my way from Columbus to Oxford, Ohio. It made for a nice stop and a very appetizing meal.

I ordered guacamole as an app and it was GREAT! For the main meal I ordered chicken chimicangas. They were delicious! The restaurant also has a nice, large TV and several smaller TVs as well as a full bar.

They offer many different types of mixed drinks and beers as well as fountain drinks.
Chips and salsa are always free to any customer.

When I was driving home from Oxford today, I couldn't resist it and had to stop at Los Mariachis again! I wanted to get two more of those great chicken chimichangas!

The restaurant has great service and very speedy and kind waiters. It's a winner!

Well I will admit I have only been here one time, but that was more than needed I think.  When we arrived for lunch they were not too busy, but it still took someone about 15 min to even sit us at a table. We ordered our food, chimichangas, they came out on a searing hot plate but the food was ice cold and the chicken was under cooked even!! What kind of magic is this I thought to myself, a hot plate and frozen food?! So instead of getting food poisoning we decided to go somewhere good, Mi Jalapenos!!

I came here with my family since i was visiting Ohio, the food was good, the service was good they seem to be attentive to us. They had a water fountain in the middle of the Restaurant which I thought was pretty cool. They have a good traditional Mexican layout with murals and decor. Not sure about the neighborhood its in since I was visiting but it seemed to be alright.

This restaurant has great service and delicious food. You get nacho chips and salsa with your order. The serving is generous, and the prices are affordable.

From their amazing hospitality to their stellar food Los Mariachis is the only mexican restaurant in Springfield as far as I'm concerned. If you don't love their food Columbus or Cinci would probably be the ideal place to find a realtor. The quesadilla, chile rellano, cheese enchilada, and shrimp fajitas are all favs. Yes, practically the whole menu.

For an even better night split a couple pitchers of margaritas texanas, the best margarita deal in Springfield!

I spent most of my "growing up" in Springfield, and now reside in San Antonio, Texas.  That being said, Los Mariachis is easily the best Mexican food I have encountered during my time in Ohio.  This place is perfect for just about any casual occasion under the sun. From after-church lunches, to one-on-one meals, to family dinner, this is where you wanna go.

The food is very good, considering the location.  And the staff is easily the best that I've ever had.  (Even after moving away and two years ago, they still remembered how I liked it!)  And the price is unbeatable.

When I lived in Springfield, We thought Taco Bell was authentic Mexican. That was many years ago and I have lived in Houston TX and San Diego CA since then. For that reason I could only give Los Mariachis three stars. The service was good. They kept our drinks filled. Same with the chips. The food was hot and tasty. I am thinking that being in Springfield  they don't have all the ingredients available to them that they have in Houston or San Diego. That being said I will deffinately go back when I return to Springfield and I would reccomend  them. Especially to folks that have never traveled outside Ohio.

I am originally from Sweden and if it is one thing that I miss when I am there it is good Mexican food. You would not think you could find good Mexican food in Springfield, OH either, but this place is amazing. The atmosphere is good, not as good as in Mexico in Epcot, but good, the service is excellent, and people park like people who have had one too many corona, but let's get to what is important: Drinks and Food.

When you arrive you are given a delcious basket of warm chips that they refill often and quickly. Their salsa, which is complementary, is tasty, but not as spicy as I like it (but I love spicy). The next thing you want to do is order your pitcher of Margarita (so very tasty), a water with lemon (you have to think about driving home) and their cheesy dipping sauce (makes the chips even better.)

As for food I honestly love everything I have had on their menu, but their fajitas and their quesadilla fajita are luscious and I would recommend those. If you go on a date you will probably have leftovers for the next day too, which is great.

Last time we went was a week ago and it was a German girl's birthday. We asked them to sing for us and they put a big awesome sombrero on her head. She got very embarrassed; it was hilarious.

If I could give this place six stars I would.
