I enjoyed my visit to Luke's but wasn't overly impressed. It's a cool patio bar, and the large fans definitely keep it cool in the summer heat. However, with the table I was at the fans were so high that the ashes were blowing out of the ashtrays while I was puffing my cancer stick. Thankfully I didn't get anything to eat, especially on the patio as the food would have been covered in ashes.

Otherwise, the alcohol selection was pretty good and the wait staff were really nice. On Monday nights they have $.50 wings...something I wish I would have known about before I went to the bar as I could have saved myself a lot on dinner.

    Props for the Domino tables.

This is the best bar that I've been to in Beaumont.  The wait staff is attentive- even on busy nights.  They have great drink prices. The food is ok--typical bar food- nothing to brag about.  When the DJ or the live band arrives the music becomes uncomfortably loud-- its very difficult to hear your own conversations, especially if your're on the patio. Luke's is a place that you can go when you want to have a just a few drinks.

An extra star for the domino tables on the patio. Very cool. And I think the service has been better lately. And they let me park my Harley in the No Parking Zone. What the hell, two extra stars!

Half price ( if you buy 2) burgers during happy hour. Not the best service (pretty slow). Nothing to brag about, but it wasn't horrible.

So Easy's didn't make it but I think Luke's just might.

    Pros:
-great patio! Lots of picnic tables and plenty of seating around the entire business
-jumbo jenga. A guy did ask me what we were playing. WTF? You've never seen Jenga (and he was a younger fellow too!)
    -good prices on drinks

    Cons:
-draft beer selection leaves a lot to be desired. The only craft beer they had on tap was St. Arnold's. C'mon guys. There were some more bottles but pretty generic fare.
-loud music: if I'm out on the patio I want to be able to hear my friends.
    -slow service

While Luke isn't anything special, it's good to have a decent patio space that is good for just chillaxing.

This bar is great except for how they crank up the amplified sound system. The live bands are great, but when they plug-in to the speakers at 90 decibels you can't sit on the patio and speak to anyone next to you. Might be fine for a concert, a problem if you're going to hang out at a bar with friends.

Otherwise the food is good, TV's all over the place and the servers are good lookin'.

Great beer selection! This establishment reminds me of something you would find in Houston or Austin. I wish Beaumont had more places like it. I will definitely bring my out of town friends here.

I was very impressed. This is the best patio in town! The burger is without a doubt the best in Beaumont. The staff is hot and really friendly and you cannot beat their weekly specials. Overall, the crowd rocks and it's a nice place to meet friends and make new ones. I love the Corona-Rita's with the $2 tacos on Wednesdays! Awesome job Luke's. : )

I've just been once for a beer but I'm sure I'll be back.  Luke's has a great patio and it may have just been pre-mardi gras weekend but the place had a nice, lively atmosphere.  There are specials just about every day.  I plan on going back for their 2 for 1 burgers some thursday in the near future.

Beer selection is great, different spaces, inside and out to enjoy your afternoon or evening.  Live music that is good and doesn't invade your space or conversation.  Food is bar food and there is nothing for kids. Service was mediocre at best.  Our drinks stayed empty for extended periods.

awesome patio. TVs everywhere! Great service unless you really go to eat. We were seated in one of the "non bar" rooms and our food took forever....like 45 minutes forever. I'm not sure what was up and maybe we caught them on a bad night since they had just recently opened. We have since gone back and sat in the bar area and outside and had no probem with food or drink service. The servers are anxious to keep your glass or beer full. good food and i like the simple menu. not a lot of riff raff, just your basic bar food, but still way good!

2 stars or 3 stars? That is the question. The hesitation is well justified as it wants to be a sports bar with plenty of tvs and a great patio, it needs the patio since the inside has limited seating, but they have live bands on the patio during football games which didnt make sense to me. Domino and picnic tables outside and plenty of fire pits and stand up heaters during the winter. Ive had the burger and the sticky fingers and both were good in my book but id definitely go back for the sticky fingers.

Best patio with the most fun in Beaumont. Always a different group of people here with a good bar. Play dominos outside with live music or watch the game on their many giant tv's. Always a good choice and you must try the queso sticks! Great management this place is going to do very well! If your looking for something new and different this is it!

Like my fellow yelper and good friend Zach C., I've been waiting for another person to open up at the old Easy's. The outside is very cool and has an abundance of TV's and outdoor heating elements. The outdoor domino tables are pretty ingenious and the beer selection is rather nice. I would say that the food is ok but a little overpriced. Also, if you are sitting outside don't plan on getting a beer for about 15 minutes because the service sucks.

I love the patio setup at this place, sitting areas around adorable stump fire pits, picnic tables for groups, domino tables, and enough room for everyone to have a spot to sit & enjoy a drink. I was really hoping someone local would get to take over & open this place back up after Easy's shut down, so I came here with a tinge of reservations about this place. I haven't really decided how much I collectively like the place or how much time I'll be spending here, but both experiences I've had to this point have been great. Some friends & I decided to try a good portion of the menu so we tried the queso infused cheese sticks, jalapeno burger, & the buffalo chicken sandwich. The buffalo chicken sandwich had good flavor, I ordered it hot & it was still completely bearable (compared to most of the cooking I do). The jalapeno burger was extremely mild and lacked the kick I expected from the description, but was still good. Fried jalapeno rings & strips were a great complimentary side to the sandwiches, and the queso cheese sticks were delightful, although they may need to start including a set of defibrillators with every meal. Glad to have a good bear selection, Saint Arnold Seasonal beer on draft, Bombshell Blonde cans, & hopefully more great brews to be incorporated. Would love to see some live music out here in the future too, the patio is way too cool to not.

I've been waiting for someone to take over Easys old location and put in something cool for a while now. After all the rumors, it has come. Luke's is a sweet sports bar with a good beer selection whether you drink miller lite or enjoy drinking a Southern Star Bombshell Blonde. They even have Lawnmower on tap! The menu is straight up bar food. I ordered some "sticky fingers", which is freshly breaded sliced chicken breast tossed in a variety of sauces, delicious. My buddy and fellow yelper John M got a good lookin' cheese burger. The menu looks to have a great selection. The patio has got to be the best in Beaumont, with domino tables and fire pits and plenty of space. Definitely check out this spot, it's a great addition to the Beaumont scene.
