Please GOD never again.
Went here for the ambiance. Left unimpressed. The pasta was WAY overcooked, and poorly seasoned. I understand the markups for pasta at a restaurant, but this was inexcusable. Yes, the ambiance is cute, but the food definitely isn't deserving of anything more than one star. Should've grabbed a burger farther down Main Street instead!!
We were excited to trek out to Stillwater last night to dine at your restaurant, but we left disappointed. The staff was great, but your food does not measure up, especially the over priced entrees.
The bread brought at the start of the meal was dry. It appeared the bread was baked and sliced earlier in the day allowing it to dry out. Don't slice it until just before service. And even better, bake it fresh and serve it warm! It doesn't take long to bake a small loaf.
For appetizers we ordered the calamari, which was delicious, but the bruschetta was another disappointment as it was severed on the same horrible bread. Â
Your entrees are in the higher price range and we expected something spectacular. But again, more disappointment. Â
The carbonara was severed in this rich, heavy cream sauce, resembling a mac and cheese, and not a traditional carbonara.
The grilled salmon would have been good, but it was buried under a huge pile of tomato concasse and extra oily pesto.
The veal saltimbocca at its hefty $24 price tag was an extreme disappointment. Over cooked veal smothered in a heavy cream sauce, and just tossed on the plate. Horrible presentation.
The vegetables served with the salmon and saltimbocca were disgusting. Over and under cooked with no flavor. Serving baby carrots I can purchase at my local supermarket is unacceptable, especially when they are cooked so poorly.
At the end of the meal we had to place our remainders in small styrofoam containers. At any other restaurant with similar prices to yours the food would have been taken away and boxed for us.
For the amount we paid last night we could have went to Bar La Grassa, Pazzaluna, or 112 Eatery, and would have spent much less for some amazing food.
We didn't say anything to our server last night about our disappointment because it would have made it more awkward, and knew there couldn't be much to improve the food at that moment. We did eat the food and were not looking for a free meal. I hope you review these comments only to improve your restaurant. You have much potential, your food just needs some attention.
Every traveling rep needs a great place to have quality food, decent wine list and atmosphere ( To take clients). They have really great "cave" rooms to entertain clients. When taking clients to my factory  I can entertain and not break my expense budget for quality food.
The staff is so nice, great job Raffaele!
