Visited Pub 112 a half dozen times since they opened and I love it. Downstairs has a great long bar that can pack in a good number of patrons. But if you can't find room downstairs and it's the weekend head on upstairs to the lounge. Full service bar, couches, coffee table(all contemporary style) and a beautiful 12+ ft diameter sized chandelier accenting the room. Great for large or small groups to sit and talk have a glass of wine or whiskey.

My first dish at p112 was Pub Poutine. The dish was suggested to me but was not sure about the dish. I am not really a fan of gravy and wasn't sure about it. GET IT! If you are afraid of gravy making the dish soggy it doesn't happen and it is so good. Stew and nachos are great too.

The only negative critique I have regards the service. The last two times I visited I had the same server. She knows the food and the beer but I had a hard time getting her attention when I was ready to order. She asked me when I first came in what I'd like to eat and drink. Said I need a minute so she went about helping other patrons. I finally decided what I wanted, Poutine. The next 10 minutes I stared at her, raised my hand, and set down the menu on the bar as she walked  back and forth behind the bar not doing anything. She wasn't serving anyone else during time. Not Pouring beer. Not cleaning or facing the bar. After a confluence of actions, including me raising my hand, looking at her, and verbally telling her I wanted food, she noticed . The other servers/bartenders are great, very attentive. I think the staff is just still finding their footing.

Overall, visit this bar! I am on my way to becoming a regular. Plus, they have good music. The acts the book can actually play!

I love me a good poutine and that's what caught my eye as we were walking around Stillwater looking at menus at various restaurants. Poutine is a common Canadian cuisine consisting of french fries piled with gravy and large white cheese chunks. The Pub112 version was the MOST delicious version of poutine I've eaten! Why? The combination of flavors & elements from Irish fair that make a scrumptious whole :) It starts with housemade fries that were perfect and not greasy, covered in a savory flavored gravy stock loaded with sauteed onions, followed by white cheese curds and Guinness base tender pulled pork. I relished every bite of this perfectly constructed poutine!

My boyfriend tried their reuben, which was piled high with thick-cut tender corned beef, nicely done sauerkraut (meaning, not overly vinegary), etc. It was accompanied by some kale crisps/chips and mixed fresh fruit as a side (which was indeed freshly cut and ripe, not a mixed fruit salad that has been mixed and sitting all day that gets soggy).

The waitress was friendly and answered all our questions - she was new and also wanted to learn more about items on the menu when we asked questions. She said that poutine would be filling and it was! Definitely something to be shared with others.

Ambiance: the main level has nicely decorated dark interior, as a typical pub setting would. Bathrooms are upstairs, which was a pleasant detour as they have an upstairs bar/dining area that's been recently remodeled, with dark leather couches and some tables & chairs which would make a lovely place for a reception or private gathering.

I will definitely visit Pub 112 again!
