The Mad Hatter

UCF is my Alma Mater and I will defend her honor until the day I die. However, living in other college towns such as Columbus, Nashville, and Athens there are many discrepancies between the national college bar scene and The Mad Hatter. It is with a heavy heart that I bring forth these issues and I hope the Mad Hatter will address them and make me proud to have been a visitor. With that being said...

Pros:
-Young enthusiastic crowd.
-They have magic hat #9 on tap.

Cons:
-No ID checking whatsoever. There was a guy at the door but he was on his Iphone.
-Lack of security. Dont diss someones team or  walk into the bathrooms where 5 dudes are blowing down Molly in the handicap stall otherwise your libel to get stomped. At the end of the night, there were drunk 18 year olds standing on the bar dancing and clamoring for drinks. This place is more like a day care for the dorms across the street which is incredibly sad.
-Bartenders are complete noobs (over serving, inattentive, over pouring, serving under agers, complete lack of cleanliness...) I will say there was one bartender that completely out worked the other two. He was attentive, engaging and concerned with his job.
-No lighting, no ambiance, mediocre DJ, absolutely nothing about this bar that will bring back a continual customer base besides its lackluster approach to underage drinking.
