Stonewood Grill & Tavern

We've been to Stonewood in the past; the one in the Ormond Beach/Daytona Beach area is always packed.  We were pleased that there wasn't a wait on a Friday night at the Winter Springs locale.  We didn't know about happy hour, but supposedly that runs til 7pm and offers some drink and appetizer specials.  We started off with the bruschetta appetizer, and my husband had a chicken pasta dish and I had the sirloin steak.  All was VERY tasty and well cooked.  

It is pretty run of the mill for a chain restaurant experience, but the manager - a man with a British accent who resembled Mr. Bean a little bit - came by to chat with us a couple times.  He was so warm and welcoming, it was a nice touch!  We had no trouble with the servers and they were prompt and efficient.  We'll definately be back when the craving hits.

The manager, Kim, seems really strange to me. She's a bit awkward and makes you feel like she is miserable working there. They have decent food but I don't get good vibes from her and a few of the servers.

They really are something special, their cedar plank salmon is wonderful and I love their pretzel stick/ bread rolls. Also they have a pretty great happy hour till 7pm I think most nights. Great place and great food.
