Carmel Cafe & Wine Bar

I really liked this restaurant.  My friend and I were greeted warmly.  There was foinf to be a wait and there were comfy couches to sit and sip a yummy cocktail.  I like the way they take your phone number to let you know when your table is ready.  Delicious menu options.  My crabcakes were fantastic and my side house salad was generous.  Prices are average check this place out!

I've been to Carmel Care twice now for dinner and both times have been excellent. First time I was out on the patio which was nice because it wasn't so loud. The second time I sat inside and it was still a good experience. Both times I had the same EXCELLENT server, Christina. She was helpful in explaining the menu and pointing out personal favorites--she never steered us wrong. I really like that you can order a sm or lrg portion depending on if you want a more tapas type experience or an entree.

I hope that they open up for brunch soon. Good location especially with the new shopping center going in across the street. Solid addition to the Winter Park dining scene.

Interesting menu of Mediterranean dishes, including items from Spain, Italy and North Africa. That's a great mix if you ask me. The menu is on iPads, so you can flip through digital pictures of all the menu items. No surprises! Is this the future? If so, I'm ready for it.

The food was fantastic. The beet salad, meatball lollipops, chicken flatbread and caprese salad were all repeatable. The whole menu looked great, so it was tough to decide.

Great service and cool atmosphere. I recommend for a double date, as most items are tapas sized, so you can go ape and order 12 things to share.
