Tasty Tuesdays In The Milk District

Great time, rain or shine! Easy to get around to the trucks, get your food and enjoy a beverage or two from one of the many bars along Robinson. Parking is allowed on Robinson along the TG Lee plant even though there is "no parking"  (Not in front of the bars!) and along the side streets.

Good assortment of trucks, which are rotated out from week to week, so check twitter or the Tasty Tues Facebook page to see this weeks list. Met friends for an evening of good friends, food and beer. The trucks had lines, the bars had plenty of patrons, even on a rainy night. Grab a poncho and head out!

8-10 different food trucks every week with the back doors of 2 or 3 different "host" bars opened up. (Space Bar, Sportstown, etc.)

I've tried food from 5-6 different trucks now and have never NOT enjoyed anything I've eaten, although Yum Yum Cupcake Truck is my far my favorite (I LIVE for the Ballad of el Churro cupcake!)

You grab chow, buy a beer, and have a seat and ENJOY.  It takes the worst part of eating at a food truck (finding somewhere to sit and eat) out of the equation, leaving nothing but goodness.  Or yumminess.  Or whatever.

Regardless, it is definitely worth checking out with a few friends.  Come hungry and come thirsty!

I am stuck in a classroom all day and don't get to try food trucks on my lunch break. This is why I am glad for Tasty Tuesdays in The Milk District. I am able to try many different food options all within the same area. Each Tuesday there is a different group of trucks out, so I won't bother writing a review of what I ate. There were enough trucks that everyone could find something they like.

I also love that you have the option of taking your food into one of the local bars where you can sit and have a drink. There aren't any tables to eat your food outside, so it is helpful that you can go indoors and have a seat and a drink. Parking can be a little bit of a challenge. We were able to find something on the street though.
