The Station Bar & Grill

Called up to place a delivery order. I could hear the girl who answered ask a manager if they're delivering right now (as advertised) and he replied "not right now" as if he just didn't feel like it. I wish all my fingers were thumbs. If I could do nothing else in life with my thumb hands, it would all be worth it to just give this place 10 thumbs down.

Who knew this place was open for lunch?! Well now you know!!

I have to say I was a bit apprehensive to try this restaurant at first, as it looked like a nightclub with its windows all blacked out.  Thank goodness for the open doors showing us that there were signs of life inside.  We were actually going to the plaza to try another restaurant at first.

The entrance smells a bit like old alcohol from the night before, but you get past that pretty quickly.  The decor is very cool, and sports a NY subway type theme with lots of TVs around the bar area.  The restaurant was pretty quiet.  OK, my group of four were the only ones in there, but when I saw the menu, I decided that we would have to stay!  The menu is not to extensive, or short, but has just enough of your favorite bar / American type food items (burgers, fish and chips, flat-breads, etc)

Since I was trying to eat a little healthier, I asked if they could modify the Buffalo sandwich, and they were happy to.  I went with that and a side of Mac and cheese.  We also got the truffle fries to share, and they are the bomb,  They are lightly coated with a batter.

The food took a little longer to come out than I thought, but it was still within a reasonable time frame.  The chef came out and asked us our opinions.  That definitely shows me that they care.  All of our meals were great, and I look forward to coming back and trying some more menu items.  I really think that they need to advertise a bit more and get a bigger lunch crowd though.

The station has the best bar food out of any ucf bar no question! And it's not just bar food the menu is huge and has literally everything. I had the buffalo chicken wrap and fries yesterday and it was amazing! The drinks are delicious as well :) I cant wait to go back!
