I would also rate this place 0 stars! The older lady that sat us was not warm or welcoming, then bad to worse...she was also our waitress. Ordered a beer in a bottle, got a glass of beer, salad with NO tomatoes...got tomatoes, Â ordered Prime Rib medium and it was overdone, fries were soggy and the ranch dressing is not fresh! Need I go on? I agree with the other posts, run as fast as you can!!
Review Source:While I was working in Sparks my coworker and I decided to check this place out. It's a restaurant trying to get off the ground, but unfortunately there isn't much advertising or specials to entice people to come in. When we came in we decided to sit in the sportsbar and met Andrea one of the bartenders. She was wonderful! We came back 4-5x after our first visit, primarily to see Andrea (you could always count on great service with her). She understood we were working and had a short amount of time to eat and get back to it. Â We really enjoyed the Turkey Croissant, Veggie Burger, Caprese Salad and the Portabello Burger. I'd recommend any of those. I'd love to see this place get off the ground, but with the lack of patrons it doesn't look too promising.
Review Source:Unfortunately  not what we expected. The employees working had been put in a terrible position by the owner/manager and were opening without a chef this am. They tried to make it right and comp'd our food, however until there is more staff we will not return. Hate to see a local Spanish springs establishment struggle but afraid this one might not make it.
Review Source:Funny from the reviews it seems like you either love or hate this place. Â First off, when you enter, you enter the restaurant side. Â Off to the side you have to enter another set of doors to get to the sports bar. Â Now, the Yelpers say it isn't a sports bar. Â Well, no, it's not Bully's. Â But what makes a bar a sports bar? Â As far as I'm concerned, it's having large screen TV's playing nothing but sports and that is what they have here. Â They recently opened, so they're still working on the decor which looks a bit empty, but over time, distributors give you free posters, neon signs, and mirrors so it looks more like a bar. Â They're off to a good start though, and yes, they will add beer on tap. Â They also plan on opening another room and turning that into a sports bar. Â What gives this place four stars is their menu which includes king crab legs and jumbalaya which no sports bar I know of offers. Â You can order anything from the restaurant at the bar which is connected to the same kitchen. Â I asked the bartender why it was called "Mad Hatter" and he said you have to mad to open a bar in this economy, and I give them credit for that, because you really do, but if you're willing to put people to work I say good on you. Â Give these guys a chance, the area isn't exactly saturated with bars let alone sports bars.
Review Source:If I could give this 0 stars I would! I hate to see a local place go bad but this is exactly what it is! It is not a sports bar! The service was horrible and our orders where completely wrong. On top of it the bar manager felt it was ok to come to our table and use vulgar language. I am not generally offended by bad language but using the F word to someone you don't know  let a lone a lady is highly inappropriate.  Will not be back and I will spread the word. Run away as fast as you can!
Review Source:Stop!!! Not a sports bar!!! Â Totally confusion is what we experienced when we walked in. Â Decided to stay and give it a try. Â Wow!!! Very sorry!!! Absolutely no ambience... Â no personality. Â I ordered 2 glasses of wine and "crab cakes". Â The crab cakes tasted like salmon with maybe a tich of canned crab. Â And my bill was 28.00. 2 teeny, tiny crab cakes and 2 glasses of house Cabernet. Â $28.00 and some change. Â Won't be back!!!
Review Source:This place has a serious identity crisis going on! From the outside it looks like it wants to be a fun sports bar, but as soon as you walk in you are completeley put off by the upscale look they are attempting. Â We went in expecting some decent bar food, maybe a burger and some wings, but instead we were handed a menu with high priced steak house items. Â We got up to leave because we were in the mood for burgers and fries, when the owner (?) stopped us and offered us lunch menus so we could get a burger. Â We waited over 40 minutes for our food to arrive. Â When it did, my Chicken club was missing the spicy guacamole, I sent it back and after another 10 minutes, she returned with it and I realized both my fries and my boyfriends were undercooked. My daughter's and my boyfriends burgers were over cooked and I barely touched my chicken club, the chicken was tough and chewy. Â Very disapointed! The only reason I'm giving it two stars was because our server was very pleasant!
Review Source:Food was bland and definetly not a sports bar. For the price they charge I would go to Applebees which is more sports bar than this place. They don't even have beer on tap.I know it is new but before you open you need to have beer on tap.to claim you are a sports bar. I had the Cajun Chicken Sandwich with no cheese because I thought they would charge me for the cheese. I wil not be back.
