I stopped through here while biking the Glacial Drumlin Bike Trail a few weeks back. It's right off the trail and they had a sign next to the trail pointing you towards it. What a cute and friendly place! It was a hot day and the woman working there immediately offered to fill my bike water bottle with ice and inquired about how my ride was going. We chatted about sandhill cranes and I got the turkey sandwich which was delicious and made fresh while I waited. Everything there looked delicious and I appreciated how welcoming she was. Nice clean bathroom stop too. There's surprisingly few businesses along the trail that make an effort to reach out to cyclists passing through and I really appreciated that this one did! There is attractive outdoor seating and a bike rack too.
Had I not been so sweaty and tired out from a hot day of biking I'd loved to have spent an afternoon here eating and drinking delicious stuff and enjoying the cute design and furniture of the place. I may not ever be in Wales again but if I am, I'll return!
Stopped here for lunch while riding the Glacial Drumlin Path (literally across the street). I enjoyed a delightful iced americano (good job on that; I can be picky about my coffee), a delicious sandwich (turkey, blue cheese, cranberry chutney - yummy! it came with a handful of chips and a pickle), and a white chocolate macadamia nut cookie for about $10. Inside had a great atmosphere, comfortable and inviting; outside had a handful of tables with umbrellas, a water bowl for dogs and two solid bike racks. This is a great place to stop while riding the Glacial Drumlin!
