Mama Lisa is just amazing! Â Great food, great prices, great service!
Our favorites- Contadina Salad with Grilled Chicken. Â It's a HUGE salad, great flavors and a delicious dressing. Â The chicken is very tender and extremely flavorful. Â My husband always orders the Baked Combo #2 and is pleased every single time. Â It usually is enough for dinner and lunch the next day! Â Delicious sauce. Â
We also enjoy the pizza and rice balls for take-out. Â The only thing we had here that we weren't thrilled about was the alfredo sauce- too thick and not too much flavor. Â Literally everything else we've had or our dining companions have had here has been amazing!!! Â We always tell people about it and bring friends. Â
We went for Pasta night once, such a huge meal for a small price, and delicious!!!
You really need to go, it's worth it. Â The staff is always super friendly and accommodating, something that's rare to find nowadays. Â
Mama Lisa- thank you for being a very bright spot in our community!
Mama Lisa has been gone from hidden gem to awesomeness in plain sight. Their new building has not taken away from the cozy quaint feeling that the old site offered. It has created a dinning experience that is truly fun comfortable and so delicious.
The homemade flavors akin to grandma's kitchen lead into modern takes on the best of old world Italian cooking. Â Highly recommend for both date night or family time. Works well with both.
I have been a regular at Mama Lisa for the past 8 years. Â Me and my coworkers go there once a week at least. Â I have tried many items on the menu, but usually end up with the Grandma, Regular, or Chicken Panino. Â You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Â My husband even says their pizza is as good as Little Vincents in Ronkonkoma (his #1 choice). Â Love this place!!!!
Review Source:For my husbands birthday I decided to make reservations at the new "hottest place in town" Figuring I would need them on a Saturday. I called and spoke to a man and was told I would have my table ready for me when I arrived. I showed up promptly at my reservation time and was told it will just be a couple minutes ..... After a half an hour a young lady who i assume is the manager approached me saying that she was so sorry for the wait and she was doing everything she could to get my table .... After 45 mins I still did not have a table and she sent over some garlic knots for me and my party after an hour I FINALLY sat and she explained how they do not do reservation but more of a call ahead and they try their best to accommodate you she than checked on our table 3 times throughout the night to make sure we were having a better time she apologized numerous times for the wait and she promised next time it would not happen. The food was excellent and so was the service, they even sang Happy Birthday to my husband. I will defiantly go back.
Review Source:Dumb waiters. We walked got a table for 2 then waited, a family of three came in and they seated them right away! WTF! It was only 4pm on a monday, and there was no line out the door! So why would we wait in line for a 2 person table when there are an adequate amount of regular booths. So we went to Moriches Bay Diner and had excellent service. Doubting ill ever go here again.
Review Source:I walked in for the first time and was immediately impressed. The restaurant is beautiful -- unlike anything else in the area. Â Service was excellent. Â I only had a salad, so can't really provide a review on the food, but everyone else was pleased with what they ordered. Â And my salad was really good, large and reasonably priced. Â I'll definitely be back!
Review Source:I'm writing this after finishing my leftovers from our meal last Wednesday. We went on Pasta night and the food was delicious! There were 4 of us and we all got different things. We all enjoyed our meals, from the soups to the desserts. Definitely worth the money ($14 a person for soup, salad, pasta and dessert) and the 20 minute wait! The pasta fagioli was Delicious! The zeppoles were a bit cakey, but I heard the cannolis were delicious. Good enough so that my husband didn't even give me a little bite. Â We will definitely be going back again!
Review Source:I just can't help it, it really bothers me to pay $13.00 or more for a pasta meal that was purchased at Costco, reheated and sauced at the rest, and sold for the same price as the bag of pasta that was originally bought at Costco, that you could make several meals with at home. I could also get it for free at the Demo spots at Costco.
Review Source:I grew up going to these guys dad and uncle's restaurant, the old Umberto's of Patchogue. Its like the same place as far as the food, which is some of the best around, including the pizza. Umberto's use to be standing room only on weekends and was known island wide. Check these guys out! Friendly and professional staff round out the experience! Like another reviewer said I have had city folk rave about! Enjoy!!!
Review Source:Sprung for a $12.50 regular pie to go. Friendly folks and a shockingly old-looking (in terms of the dry items stocked inside) display case caused a little cognitive dissonance here. They have coupons in local circulars all the time, so I'd consider a return for that reason, but I wasn't particularly wowed by anything at full price.
Review Source:As my good friend once stated upon arriving at my home to find some Pizza waiting..." This place makes a good Pie" Coming from him, major compliment.
They also make delish dinner dishes, and even have expressos if you have to wait.
Delivery too goes a long way, especially if you have had a bit too much to drink or just lazy.
