This past weekend was my first time visiting this restaurant and I was surprised that a party of seven was able to be seated right away on a Friday night (we checked other places beforehand and most had a 30 minute wait). The dining room and bar were pretty full and we ended up sitting right next to the giant blender, which was interesting.

Our waitress was extremely friendly and helpful, she was probably the best part of the experience overall. She had some great suggestions about drinks and the food. I can't speak to the drinks, since I did not partake, however the three people who did order margaritas & boat drinks were pleased with what they had.

I ordered the chicken quesadilla which was not great, however I was not expecting too much. The taste wasn't bad, but the chicken was very dry, so I really had to pile on the guacamole & salsa.

The live music was good, but extremely loud. Granted, it was 10pm on a Friday night and people wanted to dance/party, but it was so loud once the music started the conversation at our table stopped because we could no longer hear one another.

Overall, our waitress was wonderful, and I would recommend trying it out if you have never been there, especially if you enjoy casual dining in a fun/relaxed setting. I might go back again just to try the drinks.

Came here on a Monday night with a friend because we were having a margarita craving. The place was understandably empty, since it was a Monday night after all. The venue itself is huge, and the front area displays a HUGE margarita blender that actually whirls and "fills up" occasionally. TV's were located throughout featuring Jimmy Buffett concerts. The atmosphere is super fun. They also have a nice river view section upstairs, which I'd assume is a bit more intimate. The view up there is pretty nice.

We sat over at the bar and proceeded to order our drinks. I ordered the Perfect Margarita, which was delicious. It was a good strength and got me feeling buzzed pretty quickly. We also ordered the seafood mac and cheese, which was creamy and yummy. They were very generous with the seafood, which was nice. We ordered a few more drinks, but I can't remember which ones. I remember the 5 O'Clock Somewhere was pretty yummy too. The bartender was friendly and very helpful, because I'm a very indecisive person. Everything came out pretty fast, which made me happy.

Overall, I had a fun experience here. It's a good place to come and unwind and have a few margaritas. The drinks are well-made and delicious.

It's a very gimmicky place, but that's what I loved about it. If you're looking for somewhere more upscale/fancy, I'd suggest going elsewhere. If you're looking for nice, easy fun, this is the place for you.

I went to Mohegan Sun this past Wednesday with my boyfriend for the day and I decided we should eat at Margaritaville because he had never been before. I had only eaten here once before with my parents a few years ago and didn't remember having a good or bad experience.

We were seated immediately and was fairly empty for lunch time. Our server was very nice and helpful and both of our margaritas were delicious. For our meals, I got the chicken fajitas and my boyfriend had one of the burgers. I didn't realize that the fajitas came with peppers and onions, unless I misread the menu and missed that part. While the chicken was alright, I hate to say I was actually disgusted with the rest of the dish. The lettuce in the bowl was brown, shriveled and it stuck together like it had been frozen. The guacamole scoop also looked like it had been sitting for a while, aka like it hadn't just been scooped. My boyfriend said he really liked his burger, but within five minutes, his fries were cold and weren't very warm to start with.

Not much to say about the decor, as it is trying to set a scene. But the music was way too loud for noon-time lunch and it was really dark in there. There was no lighting anywhere except for the light that comes out of the windows upstairs.

For a place that's supposed to be fun and upbeat, it was strangely somber and the food lacking.
