I've been going to Mark Pi's for many years - both in Greenwood and Columbus. Perhaps it's American style Chinese, but it's good. Mark Pi's uses better quality and fresher ingredients than many local places. Everything is fresh and well cooked.
Atmosphere here is nice enough that you can forget the strip mall location. The windows are covered with traditional rice paper windows. There's a koi pond inside. It's a great place.
My favorite is Singapore Noodles, some veggies, several meats with a mound of fine rice noodles with curry. There's a bit of heat, but not much and I love the flavor. The pan fried noodles are good with a heavy wheat noodle and a very mild sauce with meat and veggies.
Check out Teriyaki Chicken, which is chicken, veggies, and rice, but the chicken and veggies are not mixed up and stir fried. You get chicken with a side of veggies and a side of rice. Simple, tasty, and different.
Their Hot Sour soup is the best I've had - for me nothing else compares.
They are more than happy to tweak anything you want, so ask for "no onions" or a dish that's not on the menu. Â About once a year I need some Egg Foo Young, which is not on the menu - but it's great.
