Marta's is awesome!! The first time I came here she was just locking up, but she opened the place back up for us and I was glad she did. Great ethnic eastern European food and beer, great friendly service.Just ate here yesterday again and the food is still super good. Chicken paprikash is so good with spaetzel or dumplings....yum. Marta is a real doll she takes good care of you. Definitely need to try the pierogies next visit. The Czech beer she has on tap is amazing too. Like Stella only heavier. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for something off the beaten path. I always try to stop here when I'm in the area.

WOW! Â The food at Marta's is SPECTACULAR. Â Chicken Paprikash to die for - great flavor. Â Melts in your mouth. Â The Schnitzel is the best I've had in town. Â Portions are huge. Â Come meet Marta and have a great dinner in one of Cleveland's old school European neighborhoods. Â DO IT

Although I only stopped in here to pick up a carry-out order, I'm bound and determined to come back here to dine in. An adorable, old school tavern-like stting, with a handful of tables and a long bar running the length of one side. This place serves central/eastern european staples and does so with competence. I had the paprikash, which was outstanding, and the potato pancakes, which were interesting. I'm not really a potato pancake guy, so I think the fact that I used the word 'interesting' rather than 'fantastic' or something similar is more a reflection of that than any shortcoming on their part. Prices are good, though not dirt cheap like some of the other joints in this part of town serving similar cuisine (i.e., Kulinars). Definitely worth a stop.
