The Mayflower Pub

I am sure this place is great for the old crowd, but nothing interesting at the least outside of that. I walked in with my wife, saw there was no pool table like they had said, watched the nastiest old guy do some questionable stuff, walked out never to return. Best of luck if you plan on trying it out.

How have we missed this place in past visits to Marin?  Thanks to Yelp, we have now discovered a gem of a bar that has apparently been here for about forty years!  We went into The Mayflower on a Saturday night around 10:30 pm, and there were maybe thirty people in there.  Most were over thirty, but the younger ones in there were calm.  First of all, the beer selection is pretty outstanding!  Aside from what you would expect in a British pub, several unique beers I had never heard of were available.  As the evening went on, the place filled up, but it was really a great crowd.  

I must say, we had the best customer service we have ever had anywhere in Marin.  Bartenders were friendly, attentive, and informative.  They interacted positively with all the patrons, and honestly, service people in Marin usually act like I am bothering them when I shop, eat, and drink.  This was a nice change, and we will definitely return soon!

This place was trashy. Disgusting old man literally pulled down his pants. It was sickening.
Not for young people. Late 30's to old. It was quite a gross experience. Also, there is no pool table here as the picture dictates.
