Mazatlan Mexican Restaurant

As a disclaimer, we have to state that we are friends of the owner of this restaurant. We have been pining to try this restaurant for quite some time. We finally had a lunch date recently and were glad to have been here. The food is true Mexican - served from a busy kitchen hot and fresh. The lunch specials were quite affordable (less than $8) and the amount of food was more than plenty - let's just say that I was considering a siesta...nevermind working the rest of the afternoon :)

The staff is quite friendly and serve was considerate. The lunch crowd was quite impressive and didn't seem to faze the staff.

As a note, the owner's brother-in-law owns a newly opened bakery just next door called "Sugar 'n' Spice". We haven't tried it yet, but that's for another review...

Eat here at least one a week. Food is always good and hot. Depending on the server the service is usually good. In the mood for mexican this is the place to go!
