Best Irish Bar in all of St. Louis!    If it weren't for knowing such fantastic owners and being related to there best bartender there Charlie Myers.... I would still think it was great!!   Food is phenomenal and beautifully prepared!!!  Drinks are always refilled at perfect timing before you last one is empty... staff is very friendly and outgoing to make your evening a great experience!

Happy hour you say? What could be more fun after a long week of work than relaxing with your co-workers at a local pub? Well, probably anything other than sitting in this place.

It was my first time here and I have to say, I was rather excited! I had heard such great comments about the food that I was finally going to experience what everyone else was talking about. However, I did not.

The staff was not friendly whatsoever! They would not take our orders because our waitress was coming in to work at 4pm.  Mind you, we were there at 3pm! Granted, they did give us a drink. Yes, just one, but they would not take our orders for food until the waitress in the section THEY seated US was there.

The appetizers were okay but I honestly can't even remember what we all ordered.

In my opinion, you aren't missing anything if you skip this place..

I've been to McGurk's on three occasions and have been satisfied every time. Twice for dinner, once for late night appetizers.

This place has amazing wings. I have to order them every time. The crab cakes are also pretty good.

The Short Rib dish is fantastic, and is a must-order. It's served in a nice gravy on top of mashed potatoes, along with some root veggies. I usually don't get excited over vegetables, but the veggies served with this dish are great. I also caught a strip steak on their special once, and it was very good as well.

For dessert, order the Beggar's Purse. If you like chocolate there is no way that this will disappoint.
