Palomino Nites

I love this bar.  It's where I go during the week when I just wanna shoot some pool, have a few shots and still have a conversation with my friends.  It's not very old but it has a lot of regulars already and it's a friendly atmosphere.  It's hard to tell whether this is a country bar or a club.  Some nights they have a DJ but outside of that the jukebox is usually playing rock and country, so you really gotta swing to both ends of the spectrum to enjoy this place.  They recently opened their grill, so you can get some pretty good food earlier in the evening.  Try the jalopeno poppers :)

On weekends they manage to bring in some pretty good band from time to time, mostly country cover bands.  Hillbilly Authority, Whiskey Dixon, The Well Hungarians, and others all come through here.  They have a sizable dance floor that doubles as the location for their beer pong league.

It seems like every weeknight there's something on sale, be it dollar bottles, $10 bottomless draft, etc.  The main problem is that it's a pain to find and get to this place.  No one really goes out to the old factory outlet mall and the Hwy 40/Prospect Rd bridge construction hasn't helped matters.  But it's really a decent spot, and there's an Imo's right next door if you get a craving on your way home.
