This store sucks bigtime the fat cow who runs the store is rude and nasty and mean take your business elsewhere they sell rotten produce and most of their products are overpriced and have expiration dates. Better off going to a dollar store instead

We just moved to the area a few months ago and we've begun to find the places that will become staples for takeout. Merrimac Country Market, also known as Francescas, has become one thanks to their amaaazing deli & pizza. They use Boars Head meats, so even though a small turkey sub is $5.99, it's well worth it. This little deli is located inside a fairly small convenience store, which has pretty much anything you could need in a pinch.

We've also started getting the pizza regularly, which is new york style greatness.. I'd go so far as to say it's the best pizza available in the area. A large cheese is $8.99 and its way bigger than any chain pizza shop... you can't beat that.  must try!

    we would certainly recommend.

Merrimac Country Market (or Francesca's Deli, Pizzeria & Groceria, formerly Mario's) is a small convenience store/deli/pizzeria which carries basic grocery items, bread, Fantini rolls, snacks, candy, auto supplies, household items, dairy goods and cold drinks, but no alcohol since Gigi's Liquors is next door. The grocery items on the shelves are on the pricier side, some items double the prices found at Market Basket.

There is also a deli counter inside the store serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food offerings include hand tossed Italian style pizza (by the slice or pie), hot & cold subs (9" & 18"), salads, deli salads, Angus burgers, pasta dinners, fish & chips, and chicken tenders. Breakfast is served starting 6AM. Daily specials are posted near the counter and heat and serve items are available. The prices are pretty reasonable, most dinners/items under $11.There's table seating for dining-in and a large TV in the store and your food is brought out to your table on regular dishes and sliverware.

The pizzas slices in the heated case looked pretty good, but I decided to get a 14" cheese pizza ($6.99 plus tax) to go. I watched my pizza being made with the dough had stretched with the sauce and cheese applied to the dough. The pizza had a nice firm/soft crust with the right amount of sauce and cheese. The pizza was really great and I finished it off for dinner and next day's lunch.
