Stopped here after a long, hot drive on a Sunday night at the end of June around 9 p.m. Temperature still in the high 80s and dry. What's with this place? I'm parched and needed food and drink. Relieved to find a place that was open, especially a place that looked inviting, a walk down the stairs, outdoor seating and a bar! Â I sat at the bar with a couple of young regulars and another guy at the end. Mixed Martial Arts on the tube and baseball highlights on the other. Info for you alkies: Beer selection okay in bottles, but ordinary, all the regular Mexican beers, Dos XX, Tecate, Pacifico, etc., plus the usual Gringo brews, plus Sierra and Blue Moon on tap, and a full bar. Not sure about quality of the cocktails, but there's a pretty young maiden behind the counter. I usually like mine made by unshaven old Irish guys with a bad cough, but then again I'm not ordering anything with an umbrella in it, okay? Ordered chicken fajita, the friendly waitress and bar maid very helpful. Got chips, which were homemade, both corn and flour tortilla chips with salsa. Crispy and perfect with alcohol. Then the fajita came and I must say, it was exceptional. The chicken was essentially a stir fry, but it had tender seasoned meat and fresh vegetables, peppers, onions, and in the sauce, I swear they used a splash of soy sauce. Very tasty. A side dish of Spanish rice, refried beans and a healthy dollop of guacamole and pico de gallo. Excellent. If I were a local, I'd be a regular.
Review Source:Ate an early dinner here.  Food was very good - kids like their burritos and I like the stewed pork with rice & beans.  The spanish rice was awesome, the black beans were nicely flavored.  The pork was delicious with the right amount of lime, a little salty (then again  I don't cook with salt so average is salty for me) but I didn't have problems eating it all.  The food was served fast, the wait staff was polite and attentive.  We ate inside which I kinda regret because the patio was very pretty and the weather was warm enough to eat outside.  They brought out some freshly fried chips and OMG it was melting in my mouth with the fresh salsa. It also came with a mexican style coleslaw.  Overall a good eating experience and would go back when we visit Sonora again.
