Milly's Tavern

We went to Milly's with a group of about 20 to hear a solo guitar player/singer.  He was good.  The food...have had much better.  But the real kicker was the half price appetizers and $3 drafts from 4-7pm.  We were there well before 7.  Ordered beers and apps.  When we got our bill we were charged full price for the apps!  We asked why...you are going to love this...
HALF PRICED APPS ARE ALSO HALF SIZED!!!  
Seriously!  We asked why ours were full priced and the waitress said...again you won't believe this...
I HEARD YOU SAY YOU WERE GOING TO SHARE SO I ORDERED THE FULL SIZE APPS FOR YOU BECAUSE THE HALF PRICE APPS WOULD NOT BE BIG ENOUGH TO SHARE!!!
Really!  She decided for us.  We won't be back.

The beer is great. We were a little disappointed that they were out of quite a few of the beers we wanted, but there were plenty of choices remaining. We ordered several appetizers to share amongst our party of six: the loaded nachos with chicken, a combo plate, chicken wings, and the espinaca dip. They sprinkle their tortilla chips with the most amazing and delicious spice blend, and the nachos had plenty of chicken and fresh vegetables. My favorite was the espinaca...I am craving it today! Our waitress Lindsay was knowledgeable about the beers and food, and she kept our glasses full. She was also kind enough to bring us plenty of condiments to go with our apps.

While Milly's is a good place to drink, I have to strongly recommend NOT eating there. The food is poorly seasoned and the menu is monotonous, not to mention a trend of over-seasoning everything to death. I had lunch before class, and made it about an hour into class being I "returned" my meal. If you need to eat there, stick to the fries or make sure it really is well done!
