Good Hookah and a great place to spend Tuesday night!

Tuesday night has live authentic Arabic entertainment that curtails to any crowd and every age group. When you look around the place you will find diversity not only in age, but sex and ethnicity. It's a great place to go with a group or even solo because you will meet people for sure!

The variety of hookah is awesome and staff is on their toes to give the best customer satisfaction.

Have I not mentioned the food yet?! Food is amazing and there are weekly specials! Go in for some bomb crispy french fries or get daring and try one of the specials that the all star Egyptian cook prepares!

For those of you that fast for Ramadan, they are open for Suhoor every night from 2am-4am!

Hope to see you there next Tuesday, party starts at 10pm :) You might want to let work know you'll be in a little late on Wednesday!

One of my favorite Hookah Lounges in Orange County. It's clean, nicely decorated, and has a pool table! Management is nice and most of the employees are friendly. They have different events every night, Arabic Night are Tuesdays and the rest of the nights usually have a cool DJ. There is also more private areas to sit away from all the music on the left side of the building and outside seating as well if you want to hookah and be able to hear yourself. Also, always ask about any specials they might have. :)

I love that they also allow you to mix any flavors without an extra charge, I like to get the Safari Melon, Peach, and Mint.

Their food is also Amazing!!!

The downsides:

I have noticed that their Hookah does not burn as long as they used to now that they've gotten busier. I also notice that they favor/pay more attention to some customers when it comes to how quickly/frequently you get coals.

BEST HOOKAH SPOT IN OC.

Great food, great service and great hookah! I'm not much of a hookah person, nor are my friends, but we love coming in here to hang out, smoke hookah and play pool. Great spot, check it out!

This place really earned all five stars! Favorite place to go on the weekends, there's so much that I love about this place!
-Great staff
-Amazing DJs
-Yummy food if you are hungry
-Fairly priced
-Staff have created somewhat of a "secret menu" and it's really good!
If you can't decide what to get, ask them! They have good taste.
-Overall great vibe, nice to relax or have fun and party!
-There is also a pool table

This place is really simple, it covers all the elements of what makes a great hookah bar and excels at each one of them. I highly recommend this place!

This is probably the best hookah lounge that you'll find in the area! My brother lives down the street so we searched for some hookah on Yelp and found this lounge. The have some interesting flavors but I would recommend the Mirage mix, it's basically a mix of melon flavors and it was tasty! The price was reasonable but it kind of sucked that you are limited to 2 people per hookah. The 4 of us could have definitely shared one hookah since it's so huge. The ambiance is very classy and clean, with their modern suede couches and hip decor. The live video DJ definitely made the place feel like a club, playing all the new hits and such. It is crazy loud so expect to scream to have a conversation, not sure what days they have a DJ but we went on a saturday night. It was packed that night and you can tell that people were having a great time, at one point it seemed like everyone was singing along to "All Gold Everything" and it was pretty fun. Each hookah is about $13 and theres a bunch of stuff you can add to the bill, like a pinapple bowl or some bubble stuff to make smoke bubbles, and of course food and drinks.

I went back again yesterday to try their new flavor choices. They have Fumari now where as far as I am concerned is amongst my favorite brands. Our group also ordered some beef shawerma and chicken shawerma sandwiches which were excellent. I personally preferred hummus as a side but my friend got the salad instead which wasn't bad.

They also offer outdoor seating now with heaters which was kind of cool. I personally sat inside but it's always nice to have an option for some cool HB breeze. The DJ last night was really good and overall we had a blast.

Best part? The bill was around $40 for everything...

Pros: lots of flavors, priced right, good service, full menu for food
Cons: food (fries) were just ok, location is kind of sketch
Recommendations: bring a FB

So the boo wanted to find a Hookah bar. I, being in my late 20s, and haven't gone to one for over a decade was like meh about the idea. Surprisingly, I had a great time. The owner greeted us at the door and was super chill. Pretty much everyone who worked here was very laid back and always had a smile on their face.

We were given the option to sit anywhere. They gave us some menus and we basically just ordered whatever our waitress recommended. She was cool enough to let us know that if we checked in on Yelp, we get free fries. So of course we did. But fried food and Hookah, just didn't mix well. I prefer to eat after I smoke ;)

They only carried bottled water, a bummer but I totally get why. I liked how they gave us separate mouth pieces. Luckily I knew where my boo's mouth has been so it was fine. The hookah actually gave me a slight tingly feeling. It was very soothing and the flavors were strong. Definitely took some Rihanna-styled selfies. The atmosphere and music was great. I saw some pool tables on the other side(?), so I believe they have a lot more to offer. Will be back.

I went to shoot Mirage to try a different spot in HB, i liked cozy but i loved mirage. It was a thursday night we were the only people in there , must have got there when it opened, either way the music was awesome it was all house music every song was awesome, as time started flying by which was probably 2 hours the place was completely packed with 20 somethings, good chill vibe great tobacco, we had strawberry out of a pineapple... AWESOME.. good times.

Ehhh. That's what this place is. Hookah took forever to get. Burnt really quick. These guys change their staff like ever other day. Food was ok. Had the chicken shawermah and it was nothing special. Way too loud in here. I was with my gf and I could barley hear her while she was sitting right next to me. Pretty expensive. Hookah for $15! Tea for $5! That's unheard of.

Love Mirage! it has become one of my favorite lounges to go smoke at!
i come here a couple nights a week with my friends and i always get the best sheesha in all of oc. i usually order blue mist tangerine. Sooo good! they also have good house mixes i've tried as well. but the one thing i look for in coming to hookah bars is if the sheesha hits well, if the place is clean and how attentive the customer service is. and mirage covers all of those things for me. i smoke everyday so i'm very picky when it comes to hookah bars/lounges.
Mirage has a lot to offer great sheesha, comfy couches, you can play pool, free wifi and great food/drinks.

good tip:
its never really loud unless you come here on tuesdays they have a live arabic band that plays. but any other night youll be fine. And i'm not to sure if its friday or sat night that they have a DJ but thats not a issue.

see you probably tonight mirage!

Met a girlfriend here on a Friday night. The music is a little too loud, but then again its hard to find a hookah place that isn't like that. My friend got some food as well which was pretty good, and the service was good. Cute place with two sections, one where everyone that doesnt want conversation sits in and the other where people can play pool and actually talk.

Would come here again.

Mirage has become one of my favorite hookah lounges! I will only smoke at 3 or 4 of the lounges in Orange County. As a seasoned hookah smoker, I am VERY particular about the lounges I go to. There are a few things I look for in a hookah bar:

-Smooth hits, I can't stand when it gets harsh quickly.
-THEY CATER!!! food, hookah, DJs, dancers! (its so difficult to find a good lounge who caters)
-Big smoke hits.
-Tobacco selection (both flavors and brands)
-They sell Fumari (my fav) and have an exclusive with Tangiers (if you haven't had it, you NEED to try it)!!
-Great tasting flavor/quality/freshness of the tobacco.
-Good DJ's
-Yummy Food
-Last, but most importantly CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Mirage has all of these qualities and more. If you are hungry, they have exceptional food here! Everything is well priced, and extremely delicious. Typically before 9pm the atmosphere is relaxed and the music isn't very loud. After 9pm if you are looking to dance/party/smoke this is the place! And if you don't like loud music and you are there after 9pm, you can sit on the left of the place or outside. There is also a pool table on the left side that is super cheap and fun to play.

The new owner Omar has made many improvements to the business. He makes sure every customer is completely satisfied with the hookah, food and service. My main issue with other hookah spots is the lack of customer service and appreciation, and at Mirage this is never an issue. There has definitely been a positive change all around with the new ownership. For those of you who have issues in the past, I recommend trying it again!

***IF YOU ARE NEW TO MIRAGE... watch out for your GPS, it may take you to the WRONG mirage in LA (I think in Lakewood?) Make sure you are going to the Mirage Hookah Lounge on Springdale and Bolsa in Huntington Beach. Enjoy!

I have read some negative reviews but decided to check it out myself with my brother and a friend. This hookah lounge exceeded my expectations. This is what a hookah lounge should be. It's very nice and classy inside, the music isn't extremely loud, dj played all different genres of music, great tasting hookahs, clean hoses (I have gone to a few where I will get a piece of ash in my mouth which is disgusting so that is always a plus), has a great relaxing environment ( one side of the lounge is away from the music and is perfect for studying or doing homework), customer service was great, and the owner Omar was very friendly and introduced himself right as we sat down. Overall, great place and look forward to going back.

Nice, clean lounge with a relaxing and perfect atmosphere to relax and talk with your friends. Rap music is constantly playing. Comfy chairs. TVs and a pool table available for entertainment. I haven't gone yet while a DJ or other live entertainment was there but I'm sure it's even better when that happens. Hookah is about $13 for two people I think when it's not happy hour. The only downside to everything was that service seemed to take a long time even when the place was not very crowded at all. There were only two other groups in the place with us and we had to wait around 20 minutes to get the hookah brought out to us and it took an even longer time for our server to change the coal. However, the few run-ins we had with our server were one of the friendliest I've ever encountered. Just kept us waiting for a little too long.

I went here with and old high school friend. She was bored on the hookah options in Little Arabia so we drove out here.

We came around 8pm so the place was empty but it picked up around 10pm. The food was okay. I got the kafta kabob sandwich. The kafta was decently spiced but nothing to rave about. We got this tropical flavored hookah.

The scene was not my thing. The dj was playing hard core rap. The only good thing was their mint lemonade icee. It was delish!

Service was uneven but the staff was attentive.

Btw, I navigated using yelp's address and it was totally not correct at all. Weird.

The service was beyond great. The employees changed our coals without having us wait and the hookahs hit perfectly. When my friends and I went, there was a DJ spinning and people were dancing. The atmosphere was enjoyable. The food was not too bad either. A nice kick it spot? Most definitely. Eat, smoke, music.

Went after some friends recommended the place. They said the service was great and you could get free peanuts. And they were right until the owner of shoreline hookah lounge bought the place. Since then the service has been less than acceptable. And no more free peanuts.

Sorry mirage but I reviewed your place before saying this was the best hookah place around and now I have been proved wrong. I gave surf city ultra lounge 3 stars and that's 3 more than I can give you.

I am not a regular smoker but I occasionally go here to chill and talk with my friends for a couple hours. It's my favorite hookah lounge I've been to. First of all it has a great atmosphere. Plenty of plush seating and it's clean and modern looking, not a bunch of dirty couches in someone's basement or garage with tacky art on the walls. Very well ventilated and always feels cool, depending how many people are there really, but it's not often I go to a hookah lounge and get cold while sitting inside. Service is always friendly and accomodating, the servers come around often to check on us and change the coals. I've never seen guava flavor on a menu before coming here and I have to say it's fantastic, especially with mint. Like most hookah places its usually one hookah per two people; if your group is an odd number there is a sitting fee (something like $3) or discounted hookah (a few bucks off the regular price). Some people may have a problem with it but I don't, at least they let you know upfront. Between 5-8pm hookah is only $6. Great deal!

On weekend nights there's usually a DJ playing Top 40, hip hop and rap and of course some traditional Middle Eastern music. It gets loud, though fortunately the place is split into two rooms and if you go to the left side it's not too bad.

I have yet to try any food but I've seen other people ordering a few plates and they look so delicious. One of these days I ought to come for dinner. They recently started offering a lunch buffet as well for like $12.99 a person.

A great lounge where I love spending my time with friends and alone. They have a wonderful hookah and the food is nice. You should visit the place if you were looking for spending some great time. I have been smoking hookah for more than 8 years in my home country and this is the only place I tried where they make the hookah as same as my home made hookah.

The staff are really friendly and lovable, and I mean it when I tell you that you will find the value for money right there.

This place is fun! The crowd is of an older generation and the music is of a middle eastern flair. I'm ignorant in this field so I don't know the language or genre of music. The staff is super friendly and the hookah lasts for hours! The coals are also of high quality. The square silver coals are what I use and they burn cleaner than most. Food and drinks are reasonably priced and taste great!

Came here with a few friends a week ago to try out a new hookah lounge nearby. This place was a great change from the others with a great atmosphere and a nice feel for a hookah lounge. The seats were comfortable, the servers were nice, on top of their coals, and played great music that wasn't too overpowering so you can actually talk to your friends without yelling at them. I like how they play movies, sports, and video games other then just music to change it up a bit. The hookah was well priced, snacks were good, and have free peanuts to snack on. Highly suggest The Mirage to anyone that wants to try out a new hookah lounge with a relaxed atmosphere or for anyone new to hookah.

What a nice change from the usual "run down, too loud that I can barely hear myself talk" hookah lounges all over Huntington Beach and Anaheim. I came here with a few friends just a few nights ago and I knew I'd be coming here often. Why? Glad you asked:

The atmosphere...well its pretty damn gorgeous.
The lighting is dim and the uniform color pattern of black and red make this place look ultra chic!

There are multiple flat screen tv's and a projector playing movies or sports (half baked was playing when I got there, so that was a plus :) )
Music is always awesome and they have a live DJ on Friday and Saturday nights. It starts getting busy around 9pm on weekend..

The place is clean and the furniture is nice and spread out, so you're not in the next person's grill.
Also, the place is divided up in half, so you can easily throw a private party on one side. The layout isn't open at this place, so if you're into scoping around the entire place for hotties, hoping you'll miraculously get a number from at least one.....well this isn't the place for you...This place has a more intimate vibe..
There is also a more lit up bar to enjoy your food or hookah.

OK now to the good stuff...
We ordered the:
-nutella sandwich with bananas: this sandwich was a lot yummier than I expected. It wasn't on plain white bread... they used french bread that was toasted and pressed? so it was more of a nutella panini and it was http://bomb.com

-The mint tea: well it was good mint tea, BUT they did put a bunch of mint on the side, which was nice :) I like those little details.

Rock hookah- It was really good and had a lot more smoke than the normal tobacco hookah. It also didn't get harsh after like an hour. My friend, who has a sensitive throat, said that hookah didn't irritate her.
Lastly, those who got the normal hookah said it was great too.

Customer Service is SO good here...The staff is friendly and they're super attentive. I appreciate that since in most hookah bars, you have to wave someone down to get service.

I posted pics of their menu- everything reasonably priced. They offer tons of promo nights that offer $10.00 regular hookahs!

They just opened up and they're off to a good start. HIGHLY recommend!

I am happy to live so close by this place!

Where do I begin? First of all absolutely gorgeous decor! The seating is comfortable and there are two rooms you can choose from. On the right there are tv screens and a wall sized projection screen so it's a great place to smoke and watch a game.

On Friday when we went there was a DJ and the place was crowded. We were seated immediately and offered a menu with many different flavors and types of hookah. We ordered the new rock hookah with a blueberry flavor and it was amazing!! It lasted the 3 hours we were there and didn't burn.

And I saved the best for last, the service. The staff was friendly and constantly checking on us. We never had to wait for coal. We also ordered Arabic coffee and mint tea and both were delicious and hot!

The best thing about Mirage is they'll also be serving food soon so it will be a great place to go have dinner, smoke hookah and just a nice place to enjoy an evening out!!
