Miss Darla's

I have gone to Miss Darla's many times. Every time we went, we waited hours and hours for our names to be called to sing. We would usually get there before it got busy and STILL never get called up!

Our last visit a few weeks ago for my birthday was the last straw. My cousin put her song choice in around 10pm. People were getting called up that came in AFTER she put her song choice in! Then the DJ went up to one of the regulars who has the same name as my cousin (Melissa) and she said it wasn't her song choice and we watched him throw her song away! Hello! There are more people out there named Melissa other than "Melissa Sparkles".

If you're not a regular, or there for a special occasion (i.e. a bachelorette party), don't expect to get a chance to sing.

We also went there for my other friends birthday back in June. He put his song choice in and was actually called up to sing. He tried to put another song in and they said he was only allowed one song, but the regulars were allowed to sing a handful of times.

I am finding a new spot to spend my money.

I am not into Dive Bars, but in terms of dive bars, this place is FANTASTIC. WOW! Clean, cheap and strong drinks, nice fire place. Just a great vibe all around. There isn't much to do in Vacaville, but if you need a place to drink for the evening, check this place out. Super clean bathrooms too!

I have that lovin' feelin' about Miss Darlas and karaoke. If you dont see your song in the book ask the karaoke DJs as they have a bigger selection from their computer.
