Stopped in because we were intrigued by the name of the place......and were pleasantly surprised.   .

My husband and I went there for a date night, while I was visiting him for his boot camp graduation. We wanted something a little bit low key where we could just hang out and enjoy each others company. MoMo was a very good place and the setting was just perfect. Honestly couldn't have picked it better everything from the setting to the food and wine was great.
I don't know much about wines but they have a huge list to pick from. The server helped me pick out one because I was clueless. But he worked with what I liked and what I didn't like a picked one that was perfect for me. Only if I could remember the name lol.
We both tried the kangaroo it was interesting and totally different so we went for it. Also the lobster Mac and cheese with the fries were so good. Creamy and salty and cheesy, I don't think I have to say more lol :)
Over all this play is really good. I know some people say its expensive but I thought it was pretty reasonable, but I guess being from New York I am used to paying to much lol.
    Enjoy everyone :)

Just had brunch at Momo's on Easter Sunday after not having been there in over a year.  The last time I was there the food was alright, nothing spectacular but not bad either.  This time, of the three things that I had off of their special Easter brunch menu, two were outstanding and one was average, so definitely an improvement from my last visit.  What I thought was ok was the side of gritts, which was topped with a layer of shredded cheese.  I added some hot sauce to it to give it a kick, and it did help, but otherwise the gritts alone lacked much zing and were kind of forgettable.  HOWEVER, what was delicious and definitely memorable was the vegetarian quiche, which had onions, zucchini, tomatoes, carrots, and cheese in it - it was seasoned perfectly and married all the different flavors together effortlessly.  I loved it so much I was dabbling up every crumb on my plate so by the time I was done there was no sign of the quiche left!  The entrees were filling and my friends and I were stuffed but our ears perked up when we heard a neighboring table get dessert.  Before we knew it, we had a slice of their chocolate ganache cake and a slice of cheesecake in front of us!  Two of us shared the ganache cake and the other had the cheesecake.  Our friend who had the cheesecake said the cake itself was good, but the crust was on the soft side and kind of soggy, so in that area it fell short.  As for our ganache, I personally loved it, and once again, almost stooped to licking the last bits of chocolate syrup and crumbs off the plate, but somehow managed to restrain myself!

If this is the standard of their food, then I'd be glad to go back.  The prices are on the steep side but it's the kind of restaurant to splurge on every once in a while.  Oh and service and atmosphere were both good!
