Stopped in because we were intrigued by the name of the place......and were pleasantly surprised.   .

My husband and I went there for a date night, while I was visiting him for his boot camp graduation. We wanted something a little bit low key where we could just hang out and enjoy each others company. MoMo was a very good place and the setting was just perfect. Honestly couldn't have picked it better everything from the setting to the food and wine was great.
I don't know much about wines but they have a huge list to pick from. The server helped me pick out one because I was clueless. But he worked with what I liked and what I didn't like a picked one that was perfect for me. Only if I could remember the name lol.
We both tried the kangaroo it was interesting and totally different so we went for it. Also the lobster Mac and cheese with the fries were so good. Creamy and salty and cheesy, I don't think I have to say more lol :)
Over all this play is really good. I know some people say its expensive but I thought it was pretty reasonable, but I guess being from New York I am used to paying to much lol.
    Enjoy everyone :)

Just had brunch at Momo's on Easter Sunday after not having been there in over a year.  The last time I was there the food was alright, nothing spectacular but not bad either.  This time, of the three things that I had off of their special Easter brunch menu, two were outstanding and one was average, so definitely an improvement from my last visit.  What I thought was ok was the side of gritts, which was topped with a layer of shredded cheese.  I added some hot sauce to it to give it a kick, and it did help, but otherwise the gritts alone lacked much zing and were kind of forgettable.  HOWEVER, what was delicious and definitely memorable was the vegetarian quiche, which had onions, zucchini, tomatoes, carrots, and cheese in it - it was seasoned perfectly and married all the different flavors together effortlessly.  I loved it so much I was dabbling up every crumb on my plate so by the time I was done there was no sign of the quiche left!  The entrees were filling and my friends and I were stuffed but our ears perked up when we heard a neighboring table get dessert.  Before we knew it, we had a slice of their chocolate ganache cake and a slice of cheesecake in front of us!  Two of us shared the ganache cake and the other had the cheesecake.  Our friend who had the cheesecake said the cake itself was good, but the crust was on the soft side and kind of soggy, so in that area it fell short.  As for our ganache, I personally loved it, and once again, almost stooped to licking the last bits of chocolate syrup and crumbs off the plate, but somehow managed to restrain myself!

If this is the standard of their food, then I'd be glad to go back.  The prices are on the steep side but it's the kind of restaurant to splurge on every once in a while.  Oh and service and atmosphere were both good!

The food isn't bad. But it's really overpriced. Other than having kangaroo on the menu, the selections are generally bland and unimaginative. Wait staff was nice. Tomato bisque tasted like a jar of marinara sauce. Rice was bland. Potatoes were so overcooked you could barely chew them. Trout was almost flavorless.

I have only been here one time.  I had the filet and it may have been the best steak that I have ever tasted.  The entire place was just remodeled and I have yet to check it out.

I would definitely visit here again for a special occasion (as it is a bit pricey). The strawberry salad with goat cheese is a must!

I went here with my co-workers to celebrate Christmas and I was so disappointed. The food while amazing was tarnished by the awful service. Our waitress was terrible. It took an hour for our food to come out. Needless to say we will not be returning. A pity because the food, when it finally came, was delicious.

Food was delicious!  The waitress was very curt and impolite.  We waited an hour to get lunch and dessert took forever as well.

Food was good, but I'm not raving. I was disappointed in the atmosphere.  I went there around 8:30 pm for a date and it was super bright inside, not at all romantic and swanky feeling like I was expecting.

casual but elegant dining. pleasant waitstaff. modern plating and presentation.  interesting and eclectic music selection when we went (generally 90's such as nirvana and smashing pumpkins).

the duck confit was veryt nicely accented with flavors of all-spice and anise. foie gras was mediocre with poor texture though the crusted bread it was served it was just right. seared ahi tuna was perfectly accompanied with steamed vegetables. i would try the osso bucco next time. parking is available in the adjacent lot as well as a lot across the street (across from sims, not devine). valet is offered as well.
