We visited here again.  Having eaten here many times the staff knows.  But the staff has always been pleasant. The owner or family member is always present so issues could be resolved.  The atmosphere is that of a neighborhood restaurant.

The Greek food is very good.  They also have extensive Mexican and Am,erican. I have never tried anything but Greek. Somehow Mexican food in Greek family restaurant. did not seem right.  The only meal I had that was not 4 star was a greek combination with pork. The pork was very very tough, favorless.

We also went there once for Easter dinner. It is a by reservation meal. The leg of lamb was excellent. It seems the family also has a farm that raises lamb.

As aside if visit here be sure to plan to spend time in shopping center behind as they have true Russian Pharmacy, a great International Market, seems from former Soviet Baltic area. The area is very interesting if have time. Fun shopping then back to Monaco for a drink.

I have only visited once for lunch.  I had the soulvlaki lamb pita sandwich.  It comes with a side (had the Greek potatoes).  I thought the food was good, but not notable enough to return. Too many onions on the sandwich for my taste.
The service was friendly and attentive.

Me and my mom used to come here sometimes with my Grandfather and his friends, Ted and Larry. I always ordered the hamburger and fries, which were absolutely delicious. And Marie was always our server and she was nice to us.

I may not be a connoisseur of Greek food, but dinner was damn tasty!  For my entree, I had the Monaco Inn plate which consisted of souvlaki and gyro meat topped with chopped, red onion, accompanied with Greek potatoes, pita bread, and tzatziki sauce.  The souvlaki was my favorite, hands down.  It was the most perfectly seasoned pork I've ever tasted.

The staff was friendly and attentive, however, the food does take awhile to come out.  I wasn't too impressed with their Greek salad. It was just a pile of iceberg lettuce, a couple of grape tomatoes, a couple of olives, some sliced onion, and a smattering of feta cheese, all doused in some kind of vinaigrette.   It was pretty meh.  Other than that, everything else was dandy.

I think on my next visit, I'll try their hummus.

I consider this to be my new favorite restaurant for when I'm in this area.
I originally went for the Greek food, which is incredible, and then tried the Mexican.  The green chili was excellent, but the Mexican food was maybe a small notch below the Greek.  Finally, I've also tried some of the American food, but it seems the weakest of the three, and is sometimes greasy.

My favorites are the gryo meat (plate, sandwich, whatever), anything with the green chili, and the lemon-chicken-rice soup.  Excellent!

The service has always been superior.  There are obviously regulars who come in from the neighborhood.   The ambiance is nice too, particularly a large mural of Santorini.

I would definitely recommend the Monaco Inn.

The WORST food on the planet....absolutely! It was so bad that we had to have a "food chaser", ie eat something after the bad meal to take the taste out of our mouths. For starters the Greek salad was ridiculous, a sprinkle of Feta, whiteish lettuce, what kind of Greeks would serve this?
The moussaka was really repulsive, brown meat, very greasy, dead eggplant and bad topping, the tzajiki, plastic yogurt with a little garlic...saave yourself, your calories and your stomach. Don't go there.

We enjoy eating here, it's close & the food is always good.  The service is consistent & friendly & the owner is always there helping out.  The menu has everything from Mexican to burgers & of course the Greek food.  I really like the Greek potatoes & spinach pie.  It's a nice place to enjoy a quiet, relaxing dinner.

They have a Greek/Mexican menu that does much better with the Greek side. That makes sense, since it is a Greek restaurant. That said, nothing here has really done much for me. It's a locally owned restaurant, and that's worth something.
