Mo's A Place for Steaks

First and last time at Mo's. service was great, unfortunately steaks and food was not even near the price. I regrettably asked for the 8oz. Waygu... Cold, unseasoned, bland, not tender... The worst spent $73.00 bucks in my life. My husband's NY was not right temperature and lacked flavor ....starter bruschetta was horrible.. Strawberry shortcake was just ok, not worth it.  We came home feeling ripped-off, we don't mind spending money if the food is parallel... We visit steakhouses often, don't  waste your palate... Ted's, at a walking distance from Mo's has awesome cuts at less than half!

I really, really want to love Mo's. Our server gave it his all, but you can only do so much with just okay food.   Good Luck Mo's I hope you can get it on the rails.

I have now eaten at Mo's in Carmel twice.  The food is just ok.  If I am going to spend that kind of money I would much rather go to Ruth's where we have never been disappointed with anything.  
The service is Mo's is horrible.  Maybe they are still trying to work the kinks out but both times I have been there it has been pretty bad.  It took forever for the waiter to come to order our drinks.  This is not your typical steakhouse where you have professional waiters/waitresses.  There is a room off to the side where we were seated, we were a table of 10.  We felt like we weren't even in the restaurant, we were off to the side and it was a weird feeling.  The restaurant was so loud that I noticed there was a table with 4 older people that were literally holding their ears.  I felt so bad for them.
The worst part of the evening was when we went to the bar for a drink after dinner.  It took FOREVER for us to get our drinks.  While we were waiting we asked the piano player to play a particular song.  He told us that he already played that song.  He told us that mgmt told him that he couldn't repeat songs.  When we told him we thought that was a stupid rule he said he thought there were a lot worse things.  He was such a jerk that I walked away.  My friend continued to talk to him about the music and he proceeded to ask her if she was a dancer.  He was completely condescending and completely rude!!!!   We did speak to mgmt about him and they told us that there was no such rule about not playing a song twice so, go figure.

That will probably be our last time at Mo's.  It's a shame.
