Great place to eat....good food...nice clean atmosphere...have a good bar too.......manager and chef were nice enough to allow our party of 9 to come in and eat even though they were technically closed...many thanks to them..we didnt realize most places here closed that early, so we were very grateful...waitstaff was nice and very cordial..chef even came out at the end to make sure everything was o.k........top notch place.
Review Source:One of the worst dining experience I ever encountered. Good thing breakfast was complimentary in the hotel package I booked. Before a long day of skiing, we went down to breakfast around 8am. There were 2 Â tables of people, plus us, and two waitresses on the floor. The menu options are simple- eggs, french toast, waffles, bagels, etc.
Our tea and coffee came. Before my BF took a sip, he noticed a large, distinct, purple, moulin rouge-looking lipstick stain on his mug. He is a server and understands how they probably slipped, but I was disgusted. They didn't even try to wipe it.
After 35 minutes, our food came.
My order: two eggs, "roasted potatoes", ham and toast. Eggs were the size of a quarter, my roasted potatoes were frozen, low-quality hash browns, each the size of my fingernail. The toast even had burnt holes in the middle of the bread. Good thing I had ham to fill up on (picture McDonalds' Egg McMuffin ham).
My BF's french toast w/ berries was good. At least his decent meal made up for the lipstick stain on his mug.
If you're staying at the hotel then go out and explore other options if you want a satisfying meal. If you want convenience, then get a http://restaurant.com gift certificate at least. Dinner menu ranges $20 per entree.
A couple positive aspects are that the view is gorgeous. Also, there was a happy hour special between 5:00-7:00, $2 drafts. The choices were Yuengling, Budweiser and Coors.
I kind of felt bad for the servers. There were about 5 of them working on a Friday night, but it was dead. They were just sitting around acting miserable. We peaked our heads in the restaurant a little later around 8:30ish and it was still slow.
