Hickory Valley Farm Restaurant

Great find after we had finished hiking in the poconos and were on our way to mt. Airy ..just stumbled across this place. The BBQ platter was great (pulled pork was the best). We had corned beef hash with eggs in a pan and pancakes as well, both of which were good.  The place has a very old school feel and  getting the food in pans feels great.

Loved it! Super nice staff! put out dancing pigs yo entertain our 1 yr old. Hubby got chicken fried steak special which would have been enough for the 3 of us. I got the 1 little piggy, pancakes, eggs, French toast and then we got a side of gravy with some biscuits which was amazing! Loved every bite. So sad that I could not finish. We will be back!

It is one of those places that feels tired and needs a clear out and refresh.  Food was below average and why does it have to come in skillets and not on plates?
Staff were friendly, understanding, but you feel sorry for them working with a poor product.
