M's Pub

I was a little disappointed with my most recent lunch at M's.  It seems like they are slipping in the quality of service and food.  The bun on my burger was burned. I couldn't tell my waitress, because she never came back to check on us.  The bread rolls were obviously old and hard (warming them up doesn't help--kitchen staff).
I have always had excellent experiences at M's. Are they getting lazy?

Someone took me here during a faculty interview.
It was waaaay too noisy in here.  I couldn't hear people sitting next to me.

And there seemed to be a lot of old, overdressed wrinkly drunk people in there.  Kind of messed up the vibe.  (No disrespect to "seasoned" people, we just happened to be sitting next to a really loud group of them.)

Had the vegetarian lahvosh (my first time trying it) and chicken satay.  Both were great!  

Service was great, considering how crowded it was.

A little pricey for everyday, but definitely a good date place.

Would go again.

Been here twice since and the food is delicious. The service is good. The mushrooms or shrimp or escargot (whatever you prefer, or have one of each) smothered in garlic butter and melted Havarti cheese is the best appetizer I've ever had!!!

Slight issues encountered on my first visit were not experienced on subsequent visits. The food is very good and the menu is extensive. Could I eat the aforementioned appetizers all night? Absolutely! If friends come to Omaha, M's Pub is a must stop.
