Mulligan's On the Blue

First, the view from the restaurant is beautiful, especially at sunset. They have a really nice selection of whiskey. I think this was possibly the best meal we had on the Island during our stay. We both had items off the traditional Irish side of the menu. The atmosphere was laid back and it wasn't too crowded. On the night we visited there was some very good traditional Irish music being performed.

This place is located at the hill of Wailea. The view is absolutely gorgeous and it's a presentable Irish dive with plenty of outdoor seating over a nice lush green view and ocean next to the golf course. One of my favorites is the live band and relaxed yet a little casual/trendy atmosphere.

Went here during happy hour and they make a nice and tasty Mai Tai.

We ordered:
-Mulligans Chicken Wings spicy bbq chicken wings
-Cajun seared ahi Tuna with wasabi and pickled ginger
-Potato Taquitos salted cabbage, avocado, chili lime sauce fried
-Calamari sweet and spicy chili aioli
-Chicken quesadilla grilled peppers, onions, chicken and pepper jack
-Mini fish and Chips

Everything came out at the same time and the waitresses/host/water boy were all very attentive and great customer service. Food quality was excellent and tasty. Not the ordinary happy hour typical low quality food. Prices are so inexpensive for happy hour and in Maui. Will come back here for dinner/lunch when I make another trip back to Maui.

Plenty of parking and free parking. They do get really busy. So stop by soon!

My boss Sondra and I had to make an after-work delivery in Wailea, so afterwards we stopped in to Mulligans for a beer. It was a Monday evening, so there was a live jazz band. The view of the sunset was incredible and ambience was perfect. Breezy and cool, with high ceilings and unexpectedly super cool chandeliers! We settled in to some super comfy bar seats, and ordered up a couple of cold pints. We weren't planning to eat, but we were so amused by our charming bartender, Damien that we decided to stay for a bit. I was craving seafood, so we had sashimi and the seafood trio. The food is amazing. I cant wait to go back for dinner and drinks. We had such a great time at Mulligans. It was spontaneous and really great. My new favorite Maui spot.
