Rita's Finest Steak & Fish House

Recently opened where Lulu's used to be, the selection of beer is great and the happy hour specials are actually pretty decent.

My review gets four stars based on the service - absolutely amazing, worthy of being at a five star resort. However, the food left a lot to be desired. I had the ceviche - I would think that you can't go wrong with seafood so close to the ocean, but it felt/tasted like it had been frozen.

If they fix their food, they will succeed. If they don't, well, there goes another Lulu's.

Service was great. However the food was nothing to be impressed with.  The BBQ sauce on the ribs tasted like ketchup and the scallops were a little bland. For the price, I expected more.

You have the location. You have one of the best views in Kihei and a nice breeze. You have the staff (many favorites from Oceans). But what you apparently don't have is anyone with good recipes. Please don't be another Lulus. Please get it together, and soon, so we can finally have a place in Kihei to drink beer and have solid, reasonably priced pupus instead of the indifferent, tourist trap style swill you and several other "restaurants" in the area are peddling. Fix. Your. Menu.
