Napolis pizza II

If you want some delicious authentic New York style pizza this is the place for you. Miles ahead of any of the pizza chains give this local establishment your business instead.

I have been to the 'original' Napolis pizza in Flowery Branch, but found out this weekend that they opened a new location closer to my house. So on Sunday, we ventured out to their new digs on Mundy Mill in the plaza with Tractor Supply. They are located about smack-dab in the middle of the strip, and I'm betting a lot of people haven't even realized they're there yet.

When we came in, we were immediately greeted, and handed a menu. Like the Flowery Branch location, you come in and order at the counter, then find your table and wait for your food to appear. Before we were even seated, a basket of bread and their signature tomato sauce was on the table, along with silverware and small plates. We had the bread gone pretty quickly, and they stopped by to see if we wanted more right away. Drinks arrived fast too, and the food was quick as well. The food was just as good as the original Napolis location, and we quite enjoyed our calzones.

Apparently they've been open for about 7 months, and the employees who work there originally (for the most part) worked at the first Napolis before moving to this location. Their prices are fair, and the food is good. A great standard-fare Italian food joint. They have a decent variety to choose from  for appetizers, main dishes, and desserts, although I'll admit I'm not a fan of Italian desserts... But it's an Italian restaurant, so I get it. I'll be back.
