Zaxby's

never heard of this chain before.   i had a chicken club sandwich.  It was a very good sandwich, and far and away the best chicken sandwich i have ever had in a fast food joint.

Zaxby's is usually a bit above the rest of the fast food milieu, but this one is generally mediocre at best.  I've had a couple of orders get screwed up (recently I got chicken fingers instead of wings), and it seems like the portions are getting smaller and smaller and smaller, although this may be a system-wide change.  

For what you're paying, for how long you have to wait in the drive-thru, and for the size of the portions, Zaxby's really isn't worth it.  This only avoids the dreaded single star because to me, a one-star place is so incredibly terrible that you'd actually tell people to go there and see how awful it is for themselves.  This is just a place I go to because I have to; it's the closest restaurant to my place of work that isn't completely disgusting.  I wouldn't recommend you make the trip out to Oakwood to see how astonishingly mediocre this Zaxby's is - if your local Zaxby's is good, then imagine it a bit crappier.  If your local Zaxby's sucks, then imagine it a bit better.  If you don't have a local Zaxby's, maybe you can come here and see what a mediocre Zaxby's is like.
