The reviews on this place have been very hot or stone cold. I got a slaw dog with onions, a chili dog with onions, onion rings, and a strawberry milkshake, Â The wieners on the dogs were not very warm and had a taste and texture similar to Oscar Meyer's offerings, so, if you like OM, then hooray! Me? I like Sabrett's, Nathan's, and NU-way's, so neh. The slaw was finely textured and mayonnaisey, not a help, not a hindrance, just beh. The rings were heavily breaded and incredibly bland: feh. The milkshake was cold, thick, had strawberry pieces in it, and was gummy (?). Weh! Can't say I'd go back. BTW, my granddaughter didn't like her cheeseburger at all. Not a good sign when a kid turns her nose up after two bites of a kiddie classic. PS: Diners are supposed to have chicken salad, country fried steaks, meatloaf, and spaghetti dishes.
Review Source:If you can get past the grime, the burgers are okay. The drive thru is nearly impossible to read, they've got tape all over it and hand written printer paper that is washed out from rain. I guess no one cares enough to replace the handwritten menu board, or clean the restaurant. I liked it better when they were the Dairy Mart and you had to order through a tiny little window. Just can't get past the ick factor.
